    @abs-oluteM I think MMH was the last Korean drama I watched on iQIYI. And lately, I haven't been using my subscription as much except for Jasper's drama. iQIYI dropped photos for a lot of upcoming Korean dramas but I don't think we have all of those threads open.

    Same. I've FF his scenes too. It's just not that engaging. The girl he loves was the second lead in My Girlfriend is an Alien and she drove me a bit crazy in that drama. Haha! @Hyacinth0910 Are you watching this? It's a contractual marriage.

    I only know one of the male actors because he was in River Where the Moon Rises. He died in that drama so hopefully his fate in the movie is better. @NiteWalker I think they left it open ended because there are talks of a potential second season. I watched episode 11 and 12 on Friday. I thought they wrapped it up nicely. I would have wished to see HS reunite with his mom though. I'm also glad they didn't drag out the evil spirit's "death".

    I know! When he finally confessed his feelings, I was so happy. That's our boy, taking forever and a day to be honest with himself! Yes! I was a bit sad to see that she didn't approach him. She probably saw that he's doing well and didn't want to intrude. They get to together again in the next five episodes, so it's ok. Haha!

    This drama is so tropey but here I am on episode 5 already. Hahaha! These types of dramas have been my favorites this year. They are lighthearted and there's always a happy ending. I'm all for happy ending dramas considering the state of the world right now. The two second leads are a bit annoying. Can they stop making toxic second leads? They are so hard to digest sometimes.

    @mademoiselle I agreed! I think sometimes if there are too many characters and stories, the message may not always be clear. Plus, it's harder to focus and follow along. That's why I'm not that excited for whatever drama it is that has all those big names coming out.

    All the episodes are out. You only have a total of one regular episode left because they are less than 20 minutes per episode. Haha!

    @mademoiselle He did?! I remember seeing pictures for it but didn't think too much about it. Haha! The trailer looks good though. I can kind of understand @SilverMoonTea. I love when the leads get together and wonder why it takes some of them so long. However, if there's too much honey after they are together, I start to lost interest. I want to enjoy my honey water, not swim in it. That said, I have no idea why Tea dropped Shaman. They are so cute!

    @mademoiselle They never expanded on ZYX's parental problems, so I'm assuming that his mom died and he was raised by his dad -- who is probably more about his business than fathering ZYX. To me, ZYX seek comfort from others because he didn't grow up with any. I think that's why he's obsessed with Ming, the first person to really give him that without asking for anything in return. After the time jump, it never showed if both of them continued to stay in touch. CC just shows up at the music festival and that's it. They both relied on each other during their most vulnerable moments so it's a bit disappointing to think that they ended it like that. Also, all the teachers and the students at the school are so invasive. And what's with the ending of them making her sign a paper saying that it was his fault so she doesn't get expelled?! WHAT?! I'm glad I never had teachers like that. When the movie was about to release, it was advertised as a youth romance but where was the romance?! I read a lot of the comments and everyone felt a bit cheated by the outcome. Same here! Have you seen the Japanese one? I cried so much watching that too.     Hopefully, this will come out next year because they look good together and also, I miss watching Deng Lun in a drama.

    In episode 19 when both of them were holding hands jumping because of they were trying to decide if they should announce their relationship opening in the lab or just wait for the opportunity, it reminded me of the interview @JenL posted. It was a bit childish but definitely something I'd imagined both of them doing in real life too.

    Yay!! Super proud of their accomplishments! The Long Ballad was a great drama to watch this year!
