The solo digital single "on the street" released by BTS's J-Hope has entered the UK's official single chart at 37th place. 

 

According to the latest chart released on the 10th (local time), J-Hope was listed on the chart along with SZA's Snooze (36th) and Kid Laroy's Love Again (38th).

 

"On the Street" is a new song that J-Hope released as a surprise ahead of his enlistment, featuring famous American rapper J. Cole. J-Hope participated in music video planning and performance production as well as writing and composing the song.

BTS member Jungkook's solo release surpassed a new milestone.

 

According to Spotify's latest update, Jungkook's 'FIFA World Cup' original soundtrack "Dreamers" exceeded 200 million streams on the platform.

BTS J-hope has made a memorable appearance on 'Jay Park's Drive' with all his guards down.

 

As reported, the BTS member J-Hope was the first to appear on the latest KBS music program hosted by Jay Park. On the episode aired on March 12, J-hope was a huge hit as he delivered live performances of "Chicken Noodle Soup," "on the street," "More," "Arson," in addition to freestyle dance challenges to "Blue Check" and remix versions of BTS's "Dynamite" and "Butter."

 

What made this episode extra special was J-hope and Jay Park were sitting in the audience section. Both of them had a friendly personality, and were widely respected. According to the program, this was the first time in the history of KBS late-night music programs for the host and the guest to do so. Sitting with his fans, J-hope made the person sitting next to him fluster with joy.

 

Throughout the episode, BTS J-Hope also interacted with the audience by dancing, singing, and rapping in close proximity.

Kim Nam Joon from BTS a world-class rapper and producer, also known by his stage name RM shared a friendly photo with Younha at her Seoul encore concert 'C/2023YH'. on March 12, BTS RM took to his personal Instagram to share a photo of him posing happily next to singer Younha. The single also was No. 2 on its top selling songs chart.

 

This is the fourth time the artist made the main songs chart, following “Chicken Noodle Soup,” a Becky G collaboration from 2019, as well as “More” and “Arson,” double title tracks from his first solo album “Jack In The Box” from last year.

 

“On The Street” notched top spot on the iTunes top songs chart in 80 regions upon release and set a record on Official Singles Top 100 in UK on Friday, debuting at No. 37, the highest spot for a K-pop solo.

Both foreigners and Koreans picked BTS as the first person that comes to mind when they hear 'Korea.'

 

The Korea Image Communication Institute conducted a recent survey of public opinion among Koreans and foreigners (staying or visiting) in Korea.

 

According to their survey, 94.86% of foreigners and 91.05% of Koreans identified BTS as representatives of Korea. This once again proves the power of BTS, which has conquered the global pop music market with K-pop.

 

Koreans (95.33%) and foreigners (97.66%) picked K-pop as the most representative content of the current Hallyu. In the second place, both Koreans (75.49%) and foreigners (72.90%) chose dramas, and in the third place, both Koreans (37.74%) and foreigners (38.82%) chose movies.

 

This survey was conducted from February, 15th to the 12th of this month, targeting 471 people (257 Koreans, 214 foreigners) through e-mail and web links.

According to SocialBook, an influencer marketing software platform, Taehyung has the world's highest average number of 'likes' per Instagram post, outperforming world-class stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Billie Eilish.

US Billboard released the latest chart rankings (as of March 18th). J-Hope made it to no. 60 on the main chart ‘Hot 100’ with his recent solo single ‘On the Street.’

 

This marks J-Hope’s fourth time to enter the ‘Hot 100’ chart. However, no. 60 is the highest ranking as of yet for J-Hope.

 

Previously, J-Hope reached no. 81 with ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ and no. 82 with ‘Arson.’

On March 16, J-hope talked to fans about his upcoming enlistment on WeVerse, stating, "I can't tell you exactly in detail, but I have the date to enlist already. It's time to get ready." He continued, "Since Jin enlisted, I thought about when I should do it, but I decided to go as soon as possible and show you a better side of myself."

 

On getting his notice, J-hope shared, "Right when I got the notice, Jin contacted me. I asked a lot of questions and Jin gave me advice on what I needed." He also revealed his goal for the military, stating and laughing hard, "My goal during my time in the military is not to get old. Don't get old, and stay in good condition."

Jungkook logged onto the Weverse for a live broadcast and spent some time with Army. He talked with fans while expressing his gratitude toward them. 

 

On this day, Jungkook held about four live broadcast sessions, changing his outfit each time. On his last broadcast, he shed tears, expressing his gratitude for his fans. He said the words, "Be happy. Please be happy. Be happy even if we're not here. I came to say goodbye." This caused fans to be concerned and encouraged Jungkook.

 The hip-hop track, released at 1 p.m. Friday, is from his debut solo album, "Face," which will roll out next Friday.

 

The song claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 110 countries, including Britain, Canada, Italy and Finland, as of 9 a.m., BigHit Music said.

 

The music video for "Set Me Free Pt. 2" had garnered about 15.55 million views as of 1 pm.

 

Jimin is scheduled to appear on the popular NBC show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Thursday.
