  1. aahaaahha...he is already in my heart since I have watch most of his dramas except Love Alarm. Let's see how his kiss skills are . @mademoiselle thinks the arms are too much. I am not complaining. I believe we will get some amazing fan service in Nevertheless. My mum & sis also love him. They think he's very cute. @SilverMoonTea KTO needs another good drama , something like Run On. I hope he can get a good main cast role soon. Doom ...what can I say. I think so far from what I have seen & read , Lee Soo Hyuk's character is more root worthy. Haiz. By the way what is happening to our BB cream oppa?
  2. Eps 13 subbed was very good in terms of plot. I know I do want more sweet OTP scenes but I liked how both SK and BW worked together to find out about Won Yeop's smuggled silk business. I shed some tears too at the scene where SK wrote to her mother. She really has gone through so much and it annoys me that she is going to get bullied more when CD's birth mum comes into the picture next week. As it is my blood was boiling every time BW's mother talks down to SK , and I am so waiting for the day when they find out how they have mistreated the Princess. I love Ba Woo but I am certain I love Soo Kyung more. I am grateful that the writer has given us a FL that has true inner strength and beauty. I know that sometimes k-drama writers tend to project strong female characters in a way where they end up annoyingly stubborn. But here we have SK who has kept her calmness and composure. She is clever and adapts quickly, and has such a great read on people and situations. Particularly like the part where she immediately knew that BW was hurt. She did not make a scene or fuss over it even when she was alone with him because she understood his character and how he would not want to worry the rest. Instead she quietly spoke to CB to tend to his injuries. Props to Yuri because the SK that she projects has this elegance ( and not arrogance) to her. --------------- BTS
  3. @bluepebbles I am trying to tamper my expectations about the kiss. The plot moved quite a lot this weekend & I am so not a fan of BW’s mum & sis as it is . I need more sweetness of the OTP . Apparently subs are out for eps 13 @ktcjdrama their feelings for each other is acknowledged right ? But yes CD mum will spice things up . Actually I just wanted them to spice things up in their bedroom….haha didn’t expect the drama heat things up this way . Yes . Our Cha Dol will surely defend the omma he loves . Unfortunately he is powerless as a kid . With BW away , SK is gonna get so bullied .
  4. @ktcjdrama thanks so much. I also can’t watch Mine now. I was so happy for this hug here . Ehh shall I laugh or cry. Dang . One love triangle not enough is it ??? I knew this will be a problem Ba Woo ex wife - technically still his wife right ? Preview:,Somebody smack this CD’s mum pls. Gosh did our SK get kicked out?
  5. @JenL happy you can come spazz here...hope everything is okay now?
  6. These look so good. Good thing it is in black & white . Cause I think his hair was blonde? Or some other colour I am not a fan of. wahhhhh @SilverMoonTea another young blood ?
  7. I am laughing so hard at @LaLa's tweet I just completed eps 11 . I laughed my head off at bread throwing sister's mind control techniques. That woman is crazy but at least she provides comic relief. But the ending though...I don't think SY push both of them down. I honestly don't think it is possible for her to do so. Anyway the time line of the drama is exactly 2 week's to the murder. The young couple - I root for their happiness but hmm will he be able to rough it out and make his own living? Running away sounds very romantic but we all know we don't live on love and air alone. And I am happy for SY - she is ready to let the world know her secret. This is possibly the best way to set herself free. I do like the sisters in law being so supportive of each other but there are times I wonder if Hyowon is really that worth fighting for? It is a lot of $$ but is it worth the stress and the strife?
  8. I didn't have the time to recap the finale but it did end well and I will see if I can recap tomorrow if the subbed episode doesn't come out yet. From the raw cuts I know that JH had to go to jail for using a forged identity. Of course all the baddies were taken down. And I believe YS and the kids waited for him to be released from jail and they changed their surname to Lee. It was very sweet.
  9. Hello everyone ! Cannot believe it is less than 5 days to the premiere of S2. @Jane and @LaLa have come up with a poll in anticipation of the 2nd season . Many thanks to the two of them for taking the time to brainstorm .Have fun and vote folks!
  10. I have been enjoying all the cameos of Go Baksa & Kaist. Each time I see them , I keep trying to recall their names in PP. Looking forward to the rest. Can Looney (Lee Kyu Hyung ) and Jung Kyung Ho cameo please? I am up to speed. TBH I was rather concerned that 1 hour & 20 minutes for an episode may be too draggy but I didn't even feel the time pass. What a gem of a show - this for me is a sweet coming of age drama. No crazy villains or extremely annoying characters. And human kindness displayed all round. Eps 4 Like @stroppyse I was rather annoyed with Coach Yoon's lackadaisical attitude to on the morning of the competition. Considering how much they had to go through to get them to compete, it was really inexcusable for him to be the reason the boys lost their opportunities to play. If the boys had a coach like his wife, they could go further. I hope he bucks up. He is a nice person and a good father / supportive husband. But as the coach for such a competitive sport , shouldn't he put in at least half the effort his wife does? Anyway, the episode once again had many touching scenes. But I definitely was very moved when Yong Tae thought that Woo Chan was dying and cried his eyes out. Clearly for these boys , this is more than just a game or a sport they love. The team becomes their family and the bond they share is strong. This is what drew Hae Kang to them - he didn't quit badminton when he was younger because he hated the game, he just didn't have team mates who were true friends. Here in Haenam, he's found some really great kids whom he can call as his buddies. Despite him trying to act tough and be indifferent to their "struggles" of staying as a team, he was slowly thawing over the episodes. And them saving his younger sister finally made him realise that he wanted to stay on and commit to the team , to these boys. I am happy too that the class president has joined them. He is gifted too and you can see he wants to be part of this. Looking forward now to eps 5 . Excited to see how the teenage love line will develop. So cute!
  11. Eps 2 & 3 Looks like Hae Kang has not lost his touch and lives up to his badminton prodigy title. The thing with him now is that he's still thinking of returning to baseball. While at the end of eps 3 , you can tell he has subconsciously chosen badminton and is enjoying it, he will be an unstoppable force in the game once he embraces it 100%. There were plenty of touching scenes in these episodes and I think the running theme about this whole drama is about showing some kindness & compassion, and extending forgiveness quickly. You can tell that the show does not intend to drag out the issues too long. One of my favourite bits were when Hae Kang and Woo Chan stood up to the bully who hit Yong Tae. This was then followed by the "punishment" for Bang who didn't do anything. Loved how the others took up his punishment when he could no longer continue. Tough lessons on teamwork & unity there for these young men. So it looks like the parents are not divorced and mum likely took up such a job this far away to help pay off debts. Perhaps them relocating was a blessing since they got to have mum live with them. Really like the parents cause they are such positive folks. It was revealed that mum had to give up her spot in the Olympics when she became pregnant with HK. From the drama we can see that it isn't easy for pro athletes once they have retired to find work and they cannot be too picky in terms of where the job takes them.
  12. Thanks so much @ktcjdrama. You are a life saver. I wish the subs would come out faster. So this is the peak rating scene of 10% https://sports.donga.com/article/all/20210613/107406202/1 However, at the end of the broadcast, another ordeal came before Bau. Won-yeop mercilessly killed Bau's brother-in-law in anger towards Bau. Due to Won-yeop's provocation, Bau lost his temper and rushed to Won-yeop. But at that moment, Dae-yeop (Shin Hyun-soo) blocked Bau. At the end of the tense confrontation, Bau vomited out with anger, saying, “Either you or I must die for this bad relationship to end.” At the same time, the ending with Bau's eyes full of life was drawn and the tension soared. This ending was a scene with great significance in Bau's twisted life history. This is because it contains Bau's warning to the Lee family. The reason why Bau had been hiding as a bossam man, the reason why his romance with Soo-kyung (Kwon Yu-ri) was blocked, and the reason why Bau revealed himself to the world. At the center of Bau's tumultuous life history, there was a bad relationship with Lee Cheom. Therefore, Bau's wrathful fury touched viewers more intensely. Jung Il-woo's passionate performance added a sense of immersion. Jung Il-woo raised the tension of the play by portraying Bau's anger with reddened tears, a sharp expression, and a line full of anger. As the conflict with the Lee Yi-cheom family is predicted to reach its peak in the future, I am more curious and looking forward to what kind of counter-attack Bau will unfold and the story of Bau that Jung Il-woo will draw. On the other hand, the 13th episode of 'Bossam', in which Jung Il-woo completed with 'Angry Ending' scene, recorded 8.7% nationwide and the highest 10%, breaking its own record. This is also the number corresponding to the highest ratings for MBN dramas. At the center of it, Jung Il-woo is drawing responses from viewers saying that he has renewed his life character by playing the role of a tough, manly man, Bau, highlighting the true value of 'a historical drama craftsman'. 13. Ahhh any more ship crumbs to tide me over till the subbed episodes come out? I found this such a heart fluttering scene. Who knew wearing clothes could be so sexy ? I normally prefer my oppas to show me some skin
  14. Thanks so much @ktcjdrama . @bluepebbles What amazes me is that even with barely any skinship, the romance is so heart fluttering . preview. Looks like SK will sneak in to see her mother . And oh my , what happened to the king ? We will get a teary hug tomorrow
  15. Love the 1st episode & very happy to finally be able to start this. Coming from a country where this is probably the number 1 most followed & played sport, I am glad that we finally have a show about badminton. . I get that in SK that this isn't as glamorous a sport compared to baseball and football, so it really feels like a show for the underdogs. The 1st episode was a quirky introduction to the characters and I find myself warming up to all of them. Hae Kang is such a sweet kid. Despite his slight arrogance ( perhaps its a high level of confidence ), he's just a good & kind young man. Instant emotional connection to him as soon as I realised he didn't want to burden his father with his baseball camp fees. I also loved how he helped the neighbour grandma to sort out her TV controller problems. Hae Kang is clearly a gifted athlete and was not surprised he was a badminton prodigy before. Was glad that his innate competitive spirit meant that he hates losing and unwittingly ended up joining the team. Talking about the team , love those 3 stooges country bumpkin team mates of his. So refreshing not to have spoilt brat city kids who have a chip on their shoulders. They clearly bonded with Hae Kang quite quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to see the house become a boarding house of sorts. They even have the girl's team move in too. I was surprised that Oh Nara's character was their mum. So are the parents divorced and the father is the one with the custody ? They still seem to be on friendly terms . Would like to see more of their family dynamics . And looks like there will also be a cute teenage romance along the way.
  16. JH got inside Im's office . He's got good intuition as an agent and he was able to finally locate the tablet. But Im had come back - somewhat knew that something was amiss and looked for the tablet. JH tried to escape but Im and some agents saw him & gave chase. Meanwhile YS knowing that Im was starting to rig the elections and buying off candidates from the opposite political team, filmed DG swapping boxes of money. Will need more videos for this , but basically her team managed to trap the politicians who were going to be bribed if I am not mistaken. And DG was there...YS pointed the cops towards the van where DG was in. DG drove off and tried to escape. Chu Do Woo shot his van. Investigator Jeong managed to catch the DG's guy but DG escaped...so it was revealed that CDW and YS had wanted to make it seem like YS had been suspended. So he put up that show for her at the CIO office so that Im etc will think she is no longer able to do anything. Phew! Happy that CDW did not betray her and that it was all an act. She indeed has the best team. The rest were surprised to - she didn't tell the rest until this Gosh ...looks like in the process of them escaping from being caught, ex boss got shot. JH rushed him to the hospital but think he died. Meanwhile DG managed to go see Im who of course was super angry for his tablet being stolen and gave DG a good beating. Ending scene, YS who is happy she made progress, drives home. Finally checks messages and JH had texted her that he found the tablet. She tried calling him but no answer. She saw a car break down by the side of the road , and stop thinking if should help ( hmmm I would never recommend lone female drivers to do this at night!) . And this was a trap ...Agent Ghost here to kidnap her Preview Im holding YS ransom to get JH to bring the tablet back. Does look like JH is able to save her and Im dies - or falls off somewhere...and now the legal process. Looks like JH will have his real identity revealed in the hearing?
  17. Eps 15 spoiler cuts. (Part 1) From what I understand that Im (what an actor hmmm) came for Kim Tae Yol's funeral then , pretending to be an average citizen concerned about the future of the country & the students. He even shed tears. Of course at this point YS still thinks Park Doo Sik killed KTY. In the present, YS was shocked that this was the KTY she had thought so highly of. This scene was quite sad for me. Although Hwang Jung Ho was finally acquitted, YS could not bring herself to tell him the truth about KTY. He still thinks highly of KTY. But actually, KTY had the evidence to prove that Hwang was innocent but he used it as a bargaining chip to see the president when he had that chat with Im. JH remains her emotional rock. She told him she could not tell Hwang the truth and felt like everything she believed in was a lie. But JH reminded her that she was doing this not because of KTY but because she wanted to help people. He said that Im sent the video to discourage her , so she shouldn't let him (Im) affect her As expected , Kang announced her suspension, and when she came to work with the rest, Chu Dung Woo stopped her upon Kang's announcement. He said as her Chief of Staff, he will take over her position temporarily. The other staff were angry thinking he has betrayed them. They tried to hit him ahahah it turned out quite funny even in such a serious scene The kids try to make her feel better but she told them she wasn't sad at her suspension. She promised the son, they will see their dad soon. She & JH still text each other. He continues to give her intel etc. JH and his ex boss went to steal a NIS access tag from someone working there. JH did it with no problems. Back in the taxi, the ex boss says that JH was born to be an agent. He asked how did he managed to live so long as JH instead of LSG. HJ says he made sure that he never met anyone , and always lived in fear that someone would recognise him as LSG. The boss says that he must be relieved now that he's real identity is known, but he says he still needs to live as Jung Hyun.
