    Ahhh @40somethingahjumma @stroppyse not sure if you will be checking this one out , but it is written by the same person who wrote Prison Playbook. So am quite excited to watch this. @LaLa I too have not watched many school / youth dramas ( last one being School 2017 as well) . Badminton (the other one is football) is such a big sport for us in Malaysia, and I do follow it, so I don't mind the sports aspect to it as well . 1st time I am seeing badminton though in kdrama. Normally most SK shows like baseball. Quite unique.

    @ktcjdrama @mademoiselle I was somewhat hoping he isn't gonna cheat. Disappointing. @mademoiselle was he also a bad guy in Search? Anyhow @ktcjdrama, the only reason why I suspect old lady had something to with Tutor being employed was because she mentioned it was so hard to get her in or something like that. But it is possible old lady had nothing to do with it. Do you gals think Ji Yong is on this too? Or he only just reconcile with tutor?

    @Chocolate I just watched it too. I love this drama and could not wait . Omg ..after eps 4 , no need guessing . That was some make out session that JY had with tutor and in the stairwell of Hee Soo's exhibition . Yes, he is still very much in love with his ex lover / ex horse riding coach/ birth mum of Ha Joon . But I think maybe I will tweak my theory - it is the old lady that somehow got Seo Hyun to hire her. Considering how scared the old lady was & their previous exchanges , the old lady had wanted her to come back . My speculation is that the old lady wants to break the marriage of Hee Soo and JY, and also exposing some of JY's secrets may cause people to have a different perception of who he is. So he may not be able to be the CEO/ Chairman. Seo Hyun is very perceptive. She sensed something is off with tutor - she witnessed the sexual tension between tutor and Ji Yong. The latter must have been surprised that SH did not ask her to stay . My hope is that both sisters-in-law will end up being each other's ally. Except for young master Soo Hyeok , every one else is despicable in that family. Our FLs need to get out , though I wonder who dies now. Talking about Soo Hyeok - I hope he doesn't end up with the same fate as the other men in this family who marry someone but pine for another . It does seem like its headed that way. It is somewhat romantic this innocent love between him and Yi Seo - I mean after all who doesn't like fairy tale type stories. But hmmm realistically , Yi Seo will suffer . Preview That crossed my mind too...that's why she has all her branded bags!

Duke City is a psychological mystery thriller set in an art museum owned by the Sungjin Group, a conglomerate that dominates business and political factions in South Korea. Soo Ae (Sweet Stranger and Me), who is returning to K-dramas after five years, plays the role of Yoon Jae-hee, the second daughter-in-law of Sungjin Group and the one who manages the art museum. She believes that love cannot thrive in poverty and chooses to dump her longtime lover in order to marry an heir of Sungjin Group. That heir is Jung Joon-hyuk, played by Kim Kang-woo (Woman of 9.9 Billion). He is an illegitimate child and has an inferiority complex despite being successful at his career as an anchor. He secretly yearns for power even as his wife goes against Sungjin Group to win him power. The drama also stars Kim Mi-sook (Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life), rookie actor Lee Yi-dam, musical actor Lee Choong-joo, and Lee Hak-joo (Private Lives). Kim Mi-sook faces off against Soo Ae as Seo Han-sook, the chairperson of the Sungjin Cultural Foundation who runs the museum. She is also an influential figure within the Sungjin Group and tries to thwart Jae-hee’s attempts to uplift her husband. Lee Yi-dam plays Kim Yi-seol, a docent of the art museum. She wishes to rise in status in the art world. Lee Hak-joo plays Han Dong-min, a reporter who believes in truth and justice, who is also a fan of Jung Joon-hyuk. Finally, Lee Choong-joo plays Park Jung-ho, a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutor’s Office who believes in loyalty. Duke City is directed by Jeon Chang-geun, who directed another JTBC drama, Mystic Pop-up Bar (2020), while the script has been penned by Son Se-dong. It is set to air on JTBC in the second half of 2021.

    I wanted to give you a laugh reaction for this ...ahahah yes neither would I. I think it was an "arranged" marriage. It gives her cover for her love life. No one will suspect that she has (or had )a lesbian lover - at least that is the impression I am getting. You raised some good points about the whole JY and tutor angle - need to rethink some other possibilities. It will be interesting if JY is "innocent" in all this and we have been trolled.

    @ktcjdrama @LaLa I know the 3 of us watch Hi Bye Mama together. One thing that really bugged me here is the whole birth mum = real mum issue in this drama . HBM also addressed that , and is it really that shameful that you have no birth mum till the point you're shunned by your friends and not invited to parties? It seems like it is such a big issue for SKoreans.

    @UnniSaraI caught up with the latest episodes. Hmm okay -I won't rule out fear being the reason they fully turn, but I also think it is a weak will. That's why Hwa Sun has not fully become mutant and even that bully Jin Seok. This week's episode proved to be more interesting once they had to move out of the respective places they were holed up in - Hwa Sun and the teacher trying to evacuate the others in the school , and Tae Han going to look for the nurse who was kidnapped by the rapist/ murderer. I was so relieved the pregnant woman managed to escape but her labour has complications. Two things I am curious - what did the nurse secretly take from the cabinet? And I am wondering why the doctor is secretly hiding the cult leader (think is him) in the isolation room. He's already infected. The Shaman's mysterious & cryptic ways have gained her a following from desperate people not knowing what else they could do. Is she really in control of the smoke / monster or is she the prophet here? I am just wondering if she is pulling a fast one on the rest by marking them as saved or untouchable?

    @oppasaranghaeyo I think too that both the FLs here are decent folks - just that Seo Hyun is a lot more savvy and "strategic" dealing with this crazy family. Growing in a chaebol family herself , she is probably well-trained and doesn't push the boundaries openly the way that Hee Soo does at times. From the brief interactions that both daughter-in-laws had with the old man, I believe he likes them both. Seo Hyun could confide in him of her desire to do something meaningful building the multicultural complex , and it is clear he has a soft spot for Hee Soo. At the end , I hope both ladies will be able to free themselves from this family. Like @LaLa, I have not much pity for anyone else. Maybe kind of interested to see the choice of Soo Hyeok ...will he choose love over his family? @LaLa Move To Heaven is a wonderful & meaningful drama. Watch it on the day you don't have to meet anyone as your eyes will be very puffy. You can check the thread...I think all of us use a lot of tissue.

I am practically watching all the weekends series - Undercover, Taxi Driver , Dark Hole and Mine ......but okay let's see how long your excitement last. If reach mid point eps 10 , you're still on it I will make an effort to check it out.

    Yes correct. In first post you can put in some information you like. And if you want to have the 1st few posts to have different types of information, just put "reserve" 1st on the posts as I know it takes time for you to update. We have an auto-merge system of 10 minutes. Meaning that for each consecutive post for the same member , the posts will merge if done within 10 mins. But if done after 10 mins it wont merge. So what most of us here do when we open new threads is that we will wait for 10 mins each and reserve 2 or 3 posts after the 1st posts. It is up to you how extensive the information you want. And don't worry if you make any mistake. I can help you merge or delete etc . Just let me know

    Hmmm the tutor is the birth mum considering her emotional outbursts slapping Ha Joon’s friend’s mum . But still she gives me the creeps with regards to her mental state. I’m glad Hee Soo is not disregarding the red flags & is doing something pro-active - seems like she will ask her to leave in the preview. But of course , for story sake it isn’t going to happen that soon. Plus the tutor did the old lady a favour - apparently she got the oldest son chosen as the acting chairman / CEO. And in the brothers' conversation in front of the peacock cage , older bro Jin Ho asked Ji Yong why the latter gave up the position to him, and Ji Yong said it’s the bro’s place FOR NOW . Wahh that’s darn cryptic. Could tutor & JY have a long term plan of taking over ? So what I’m implying is that JY had a hand in bringing her in to the household somehow . They could have been very in love but were forced to separate. We know Ha Joon was also born out of wedlock. Seo Hyun & Hee Soo are actually on the same side in this crazy family. Both are outsiders but have similar situations raising sons not their own. Both have some sort of standing in the family - SH is super rich & HS was an award winning actress. So in that sense they aren’t typical daughter-in- laws who have to Kow tow to their in laws. You can see they have quite a bit of say in the family . In fact the old lady & bread throwing sis are quite powerless and stupid . Cinderella love line btwn young heir & maid has an interesting tension to it and strangely pure and innocent. At the moment anyway. Young maid has a spine & could not be bought over by Seo Hyun’s money. SH had wanted her to be the spy , but the young girl refused at the end
