    @40somethingahjumma I watched till eps 12...so addictive. So far things have been quite calm between the two but this eps was quite dramatic. Chu Chu birth's secret of being born in a coffin so to speak , and she's feeling betrayed thinking that JX was just interested in the pendant, and not sincere in hiring her. And oh my did he just vomit blood because Chu Chu did not trust him enough...this is usually a good sign of changes to their relationship. And we're also told that the Witch Doc is JX's father, or at least that is what JX thinks. I don't watch that many historical c dramas but I think this is the 1st time that I see a ML who's not skilled in martial arts , and that he's actually poor in health. But what he lacks in physical skills, he makes it up with so much intelligence and wisdom. That is pretty sexy indeed. And I like how he treates Chu Chu and does not discriminate her because of her gender - giving her a chance for the job.

    That is awesome @NiteWalker. This is such a heavy week workwise - but I have been able to squeeze some episodes here & there. And I laughed so hard when she tried to make herself "pretty" in eps 9 , and he asked why she was trying to make herself look like a corpse! . Poor gal. Leng Yue , the childhood friend of the boys are back - hopefully no unnecessary love triangle , am guessing her love line is with Jing? But that eunuch - really cannot stand scenes of him and his obsession with growing a mustache.

    @40somethingahjumma @Tofu @NiteWalker I am really enjoying this one and I am up to eps 6. Maybe because it is more like a procedural rather than heavily focused on palace politics that I find it easier to watch than say even The Long Ballad. I agree that JinYu is a ML that I warmed up to very easily. In fact I like Chu Chu too. Both characters don't have annoying hang ups and get the work done. The romance is understated but it is there. Chu Chu is already crushing hard and JinYu is impressed by her . Rushing in to save her in that fire says a lot. I also like his friend Jing . I think he and Jin Yu work very well together , and I love their friendship. JinYu is really observant & intelligent. I appreciate his calmness but at the same time he thinks quickly. Chu Chu complements him and what he does. And she knows her stuff. Being a coroner is not something most girls would chose to do in those times - but she was well-trained and mentored by this "witch doctor" whom I am guessing could be Jin Yu's father who has gone missing. Or could the Handsome Judge that she keeps talking about be the father? Or are they one and the same ? Anyhow, it looks like Chu Chu herself also has a birth secret. Let's see how many more episodes I can catch this week. I do love the pairing - so sweet & all those reenactments definitely provide convenient skinship :D

    I scrubbed through the cuts At the end of the last week , Jin A saw her mum but she can't tell after that if it was just her imagination as she passed out. Ji Chul (IB's buddy) came to save them and sent them to hospital. Manager Joo did not die but she was definitely injured and is in hospital. There was a scene where IB went to see her , and the exchange between the two didn't seem quite pleasant. But I will need subs - is IB suspicious of Joo over something? Anyway long story short, JA is still determined to help IB's uncle's ghost go off in peace. So again they set of trap that involved Dohak boss. But things did not go as plan. IB's uncle who had now possesed IB was very strong & he was super angry that Dohak boss escape...and OMG...he jumped off a tall building to chase him. Preview - can't be that IB died right? That funeral maybe just a set-up. Anyway looks like Manager Joo is hiding something from JinA

    LDH can play the piano at the end of the BTS. Before the kiss scene, supposed to have a forhead finger flick. But don't remember it in the episode. And that running scene - waahhhhh that had to do so many times different angles. Felt it for GMS who is short compared to LDH - not easy to run aside someone who has long strides. LOL

    I am sure he is loaded!!! . I am still waiting for them to air one of his drama - Retro Detective. Hope that doesn't get shelved like Zhao Ge.

    But it wasn't a completely angst free episode. For one Soo Chan did confront Myung Hee about it & wanted her not to do this - but she realise that all her life she always had to give things up. And this is something she wants to fight for. Soo Chan was heartbroken since he really likes her. And I believe that SR must have gotten wind of what happened she came to look for MH. This pissed me off because in the flashback to the past , you can see that in the protest, SR and MH both put up the posters but only MH was caught . SR did nothing for her friend This kiss - I was rejoicing . It was so sweet. She pecked him first , then he kissed back. BUT OMG....at the end ....after he left , she was abducted And you can see in the preview that HeeTae had to beg his father - must be to leave MH alone. I am so angry

    Alright in this post I just want to focus on the lovely sweet moments...after his class , he sneaked out to look for MH. She told him she was off for 2 days or something and he suggested they go on a date. But a call came from her mum...think she had to go take her bro out Surprise surprise...MH and HT discovers their brothers are close buddies and they take the boys out for lunch. Hee Tae's bro asked what is the relationship between them...HT said they are just friends They also took they boys to amusement park...they all had alot of fun especially MH and the boys. LOL! Sweet dates!!! I am melting

    I went through the cuts & spoilers ...I was happy , then I was annoyed , then I was so angry, then I had a heart fluttery moment and finally I was so scared. This drama is killing me Ep 6 So after that romantic running bit , he took her back . And they exchanged some keepsake - he took her earrings and she took his bow....maybe my mind little bit in the gutter , but when she took the bow off him it sent him to cloud 9 - it was an almost kiss. But a police officer came by saying it was curfew ... so no kiss . LOL But you know....I don't know why he got slapped here by dad, but I think it was because he ran off before the ceremony finished. Father gave him two tight slaps, but Hee Tae stopped him from doing a third. I HATE the father and SR came bearing gifts - she saw the slap marks. Later the two of them had some argument out in the garden - but Hee Tae's step mum was like they shouldn't bicker out there. She went to his room . She saw the photo of his mum and was surprised mum was a singer ( in the club). Hmm did she feel sorry for him ? Oh darn , it looks like Soo Chan saw Hee Tae & Myung Hee running off that night and he confronted Hee Tae. I am waiting for subs to see what Hee Tae told him. I don't think he denied it. And he even brought up SR here

    I checked out eps 1 ... the OTP is so darn cute. No idea who they are but love their interactions. I laughed hard when she mistook him as the test subject for her coroner's test . Also thought what a unique premise - kind of like CSI or something in olden times.
