  2. Hello @scandi . Welcome to Jang Haven and happy you joined us here. Don't worry about jumbled posts and all. Let me know if you have any technical issues. Will be happy to help. Also if you have questions, we have a FAQ section too https://janghaven.com/forum/21-faq/ ------------------- Due to watching way too many dramas I have only finished ep 11...lol. It was a sad episode especially for Kang Hanna because of what happened to her assistant ,,. But the one thing I was quite happy about in that episode is that DoKi started questioning CEO about whether using Baek and the private jail was a good idea. This I suppose is setting the tone for the story's direction in episodes to come. Honestly vigilante justice is a tricky thing. As a viewer who enjoys watching shows like that , I am all for it given that the system is so broken. But this drama in recent episodes has given me food for thought about whether this is truly the best or only solution , and at what point do you draw the line.
  3. Like brand new oppas? I think only Rowoon & Kang Tae Oh. But definitely got revival in my heart for Yeon Woo Jin since I actually binged on Queen of 7 Days because I realise how much I miss him while seeing him in Undercover.
  4. Ya possible as well. We're only mid point but the drama is already serving so many unexpect twists. This speculation also possible I see the ratings rose for this show
  5. Eps 6 - The Uncomfortable Truth or Fake Peace. There weren't any new shocking revelations so to speak , but it is clear that Ji Yong ( as I had suspected) made it possible for Tutor Fox (yes @LaLa am using your pet name for her , LOL) to come into the household with the help of old lady. That is why JY had "allowed" Jin Ho to be made the Chairman. But for JiYong this was a small sacrifice as he knew his real competitor for the seat isn't his useless brother but his very competent sis-in-law. He had overheard his father said to her that she was a potential candidate for the seat. I don't think he expected this but if you're going to bring your enemy down , you have got to know their weakness. He chanced upon the maid recording the conversation. And it is not hard to put together how he was able to find out about Seo Hyun's lover and sexual orientation. So when SH found the truth about Tutor Fox, she had wanted to tell Hee Soo about it. But HeeSoo came with news of her pregnancy . Seo Hyun found it hard to reveal the truth given the happy news that HS told her. Seo Hyun was conflicted. But she was protective of Hee Soo and she did the next best thing she could think of which was to confront Ji Yong , asking him to be honest and to tell HeeSoo himself. But of course now the true face of Ji Yong was revealed to SeoHyun, and he knowing her Achilles heel , used her secret to keep her mouth shut. Just to backtrack, Hee Soo did find Ha Joon who had actually gone to a concert without permission. And mother & son made up. Long story short Tutor Fox could see HS's love for HJ. I think in this episode , we can see that perhaps she isn't as conniving as she was projected to be . At the end of the day, she just really wants her son (and man ) back , things which she felt she was robbed off. I am sure old lady did something to her to make her abandon Ha Joon. Nevertheless in the midst of all the conflicted feelings inside her , the one that came to dominate was the feeling of being dealt with unjustly . So even though she did leave (and almost revealed her true identity to HS) , it isn't the end of her. As we could see at the end of the episode, she may have left her tutor identity behind but she is returning as Lee Hye Jin - birth mum of Ha Joon. What is making me curious is her actual background. Is she herself from a rich family? She came in a chauffer driven car at the end. Anyway, this episode we can confirm one thing is that both sisters-in-law have each other's back. Both were initially afraid to deal with the truth. HS knows deep down that Tutor Fox is Ha Joon's mum. She had many opportunities to find out. Even when Tutor was leaving, she could have discovered the truth. But she chose fake peace then. It was the same with Seo Hyun. She was struggling with her own secret but she was also conflicted as she knew that Hee Soo should know about Tutor's identity. SH finally told Mother Emma her own secret love story which helped released her burden . So by the end of the episode both HS and SH decided to face the uncomfortable truth instead. I was so pleased at that charity event, HS and SH tell each other what they know about Ha Joon's birth mum. Even though Lee Hye Jin reveals her true self and there's JY to deal with, I feel better for Hee Soo that she has Seo Hyun on her side. Oh one more thing - young heir & maid love story still at innocent lovey dovey stages. But Jin Ho caught them staring at each other ....think he will figure out what is going on.
  6. Watching the eps now , but I dying laughing that Nodeuk escaped & flew to the moon ! He’s just done with that old lady & her yelling !

  8. Oh my god eps 23 eps 24 Lots of serious stuff going on with the illegal mint coin issue...but this....LOL He is adorable. But bro gave him good advice , he should follow his heart in how he wishes to pursue Chu Chu
  9. Since Unnisara is watching this I will put what I want to say about eps 21 in spoiler eps 22...
  10. I agree - this is not just makjang for makjang sake. The plot is actually well thought out and pacing is good.
  11. This is an abuse of power . What a cruel man. In the midst of this, in the photo released on the 23rd, Kim Myung-hee was captured by the security forces. The chilling scenery of the investigation room, where you can't tell the difference between day and night, and her messy hair make you guess that something terrible has happened. On the other hand, Hwang Ki-nam's relaxed attitude toward her sparks anger from viewers. The brutality of the dictatorship is felt from him, who looks at her persistently with his arms folded, and Kim Myeong-hee falls into indescribable shock and sadness after seeing the documents he handed him over. https://www.newsen.com/news_view.php?uid=202105230823256710

  18. Yeah same...I think they chose LHW because he can really carry off this sort of character. I am impressed. I will make sure to watch his dramas though so far all the roles are so shady See here so sweet & kind and here reveals his true face LOL! Poor peacock. CGI like Inzaghi right? Preview
  19. In next week's preview , glad to see the Rainbow team is safe. DoKi shows Hanna the private jail...
  20. Tonight's episode was superb. Just when you think they can't twist the story & give you shocking revelations .... Of course as per stills above and per expected story flow , it didn't take long for Soo Hyeok and Yu Yeon to succumb to all that pent up feelings. Young raging hormones will always trump rational judgement. . Looks like true love ...ahaha I dunno but perhaps both find a connection because they have very little control over the lives they live. But YY will stand to lose everything when this goes south. Now I don't know if should be more weary of Tutor Fox or Ji Yong. The latter's character is a lot more complex than I had thought . I initially thought he was just wanting to reunite with the lover etc and hence perhaps paved the way for her. But no, I think he may have orchestrated everything that has happened because he wants Ha Joon to have both his birth & step mum to raise him (so that Ha Joon could be perfect) but he has no intentions whatsoever to have her replace Hee Soo. Yes, he wants his cake & eat it too. He told JK to just quietly be by the kid's side. That is rather arrogant of him to think JK will take this lying down . Then again , he has a twisted personality - the way he was enjoying that illegal wrestling match is a hint of something very sinister going on in his mind. You see the changes in his expression and wonder if he has psychopathic tendencies. There's no doubt now that he intends to take over the family business, and he will get rid of his siblings somehow. He is just biding his time. Hee Soo's instincts were right about JK being the birth mum, but her kindness & compassion took over her rational judgment. I wanted her to do that DNA test . If I were in her position, I will not allow any tutor or employee of mine to cause me so much discomfort. While I don't like JK, in this episode I can somewhat understand her POV as someone who has been forcefully separated from her child and is desperately wanting to take back the child back. I don't know if she leaked the news of Ha Joon's birth secret ( at first we all thought it was bread throwing sis in law) but Ji Yong thinks so. Anyhow JK , realising that JY will never have Ha Joon acknowledge her as the mum, took Ha Joon with her. Of course Hee Soo upon hearing Ha Joon has gone missing drives out in the heavy rain to look for him. A frantic JY comes back to find out from her PA that she really shouldn't be doing so in her state ....because ( I didn't see this coming) And the drama being a tease , reveals the body of one of the dead women ... Yup that was how the episode ended. @joccu__ I like Seo Hyun too . There's something very clever and strategic in the ways she thinks. She has great instinct and checks out everything . She discovered tonight that Ha Joon's birth mum is alive by making the necessary enquiries. Hee Soo , I wish , did that.
  21. I think I finally get what the drama is going for. Myul Mung's desire to destroy the world is because he thinks he is unworthy of love. This is also compounded by the fact that he finds that humans are all insignificant selfish , self-centered creatures every time he hears their thoughts. To fulfill his purpose , after all he is destruction itself , he has a built up a wall to prevent himself from feeling anything be it sadness or compassion. That dream sequence of the flowers dying as he walks past and with her bringing them back to life is a critical hint to the dynamics of their relationship going forward. His goal for her to love him so much , she'd wish for the world to end . And hers for him to love her so much, he'd change his mind about destroying it. As to the side love story, it looks like it might turn rather messy, no? Didn't expect Cha Jo Ik to be Lee Hyun Kyu's former tutor and that they both live together. Does it feel like Lee Hyun Kyu is an extension of Kang Tae Oh's character in Run On? Especially when he does his cute agyeo here: @mademoiselle too bad she never kissed him ...look at that adorable face. I like this soft fringe here I personally love this flower scene and wouldn't mind using it for the badge. And this is my fave for Myul Mung...I laughed at all the scenarios she was thinking of to make them fall in love
  22. Better not mess with DoKi. This is how he's going to save the Rainbow Team https://www.newsen.com/news_view.php?uid=202105221701148010 Too many dramas. LOL . Will have to watch both episodes at a go. OST 6
  23. @40somethingahjumma @NiteWalker I finished eps 20 earlier. This show is addictive , so much so I have not caught up with some of my kdramas this week. Apart from the main pair , I like the relationship dynamics between Jin Yu and Jin Li. It is rather refreshing to see brothers not fight each other for position and power - I can see how protective they are of each other . I am still laughing at how Jin Li princess carried Jin Yu to the room because he was so worried JY was not well. LOL. The writer of this show is doing a great job. For one it is easy to understand the politics that is going on. And being an investigative show , they don't make it too hard for the average viewer as well. There's logic . Also I appreciate that the romance is weaved nicely into the big picture of finding his father and confirming her birth origins. And Jin Yu is an excellent ML - except for his feelings for Chu Chu - he is calm but decisive in his decision making. He deserves the role that he holds as Commander Prince.
