  1. eps 8 TBH , I was trying my best not to get annoyed with Dae Yeob. After all, his history with SK was very sad, and I am sympathetic to lovers who were forced to separate. But it was shown towards the end that she had offered to run away with him when she was supposed to marry his brother and he did not have the courage to do so. Was it fear of his father or perhaps she wasn't worth the sacrifice for him to give up his cushy life? I am not sure . But one thing is clear - SK is no longer in love with him and he will just have to accept that. The last bit was really good since we saw their "confessions " and hug. You know this couple's push pull is like that: SK : Please don't come save me...I can take care of myself Annoyed BW : Fine , I won't come save you. Cha Dol : Abojiiiiiiiiii..... BW realises he didn't mean it , endangers himself and goes save her, every single time!
  2. @NiteWalker @Tofu @Lynne looks like they are going to dump 12 eps for VIP access this week
  3. I am eating my lunch..and watching eps 8 ...I like two particular scenes. - 1st one when Chun Bae asked Ba Woo - why he was going all out to save her when she was the daughter in law of his enemy. He brushed it off but Chun Bae knew immediately that BW's a goner - And the scene of him breaking into the room where she was locked up in. And he asked her if she wanted to live - he was so desperate to hear a yes for that. The emotions between the two were so good here. I teared up .
  4. @mademoiselle SK is considering too ? lol - the drama title
  5. Same...I don't even go out to buy anything...I just shop online , and food delivery. My life since last year
  6. I have watch many of YuRi's dramas ...I do like her a lot both off & on screen because she has an outgoing and approachable personality . I think she has really up her acting game in this one . She should do more Sageuk. I watched the Vlog that she did for their photoshoot together. They have great synergy and you can see they understand the power of fan service. Whether they become a couple , who knows ....but I do like their off screen interactions as much as the ones in the drama.
  7. @Lynne I hope so. The trailer looked action packed. And I think it will definitely have some comparison to DOTS and You Are My Hero. Will you be watching this? Poor fella...people / fans like this are scary. @NiteWalker sigh did weibo hv any news of ZZH dramas? I am admiring this now...ahahah. Thanks
  8. we watch many dramas together...but Hospital Playlist & Iksong is what I think of immediately.
  9. Yeah was not my oppa and though he hasn't reach oppa level , but the pairing and story hook me in ahhaahahah
  10. I know what you mean. This drama is so addictive - I couldn't stop ...if I wasn't so sleepy I would have finished eps 8 last night too. Okay I wait for your recaps. Who knew I will be hooked on this too @SilverMoonTea @Tofu! @bluepebbles @gilaswan @Chocolate @1217akkum4 @traciennamon @MANDOOS @UnniSara come share your thoughts with us too & make some $$ @LaLa you should check this one out , since you're translating stuff for the ship thread .
  11. Give me spoiler, please...so that jail scene when they both cried. Was it a confession? I know he somewhat confessed before this right? What about her? Am at work...cannot wait to watch.
  12. Omg...I think so too. That is probably also why he wanted SK to marry the 2nd son and not Dae Yeop. I remember now Jung Il Woo in Cinderella & the 4 Knights. But I don't think the story hooked me at all. Here though , he is perfect as Ba Woo. Though I am not a fan of the facial hair, his scruffy look has grown on me
  13. ahahaha me too....trauma! What episode are you up to now? I finished eps 7 last night. Dae Yeop continues to worry me because I feel he is underestimating what his father is capable of and he just doesn't seem to realise that SK's father, the King is using her - her life & death has become his weapon against her FIL. Are the subbed episodes for 9 & 10 out yet?
  14. Oh nooooo he’s caught ! Did it take such dire situations for them to admit their feelings for each other ? Kinda dangerous but kind of strangely romantic too preview eps 11
  15. I have been too busy catching up on Bossam. Will have to watch tomorrow . preview
  16. Eps 6 Not sure why but I felt quite annoyed with Dae Yeop's insistence of finding a way to bring SK back. Perhaps he isn't aware that the King didn't want her alive too. The latter needed her dead so that he had a way to go against the Vice Premiere. Sadly the efforts that went into retrieving that pardon token has has gone down the drain given that the King has purposely spread rumors that DY and SK "eloped" and it has set in motion a new strategy to get rid of the VP. And it doesn't look like he wants SK alive too. What they did to steal that token from his father was risky but it was also important because we now know that Ba Woo came from a family of influence but his father must have been enemies or against the Vice Premiere, and the latter was the one that executed his father. Poor Ba Woo. Can really feel his rage . That spilled over to when he had to tell SK that they have to part ways. Given how hurt SK felt with the strong words he used , it is clear that Ba Woo has entered her heart .
  17. Saw eps 5 and it was quite sad that SK ended up with Dae Yeob's brother instead of him. It is not clear why the brother was chosen as her husband when DY was the one with the royal engagement . SK and DY would have had a happy marriage given those happy childhood flashbacks. However , the ship has sailed. In some ways, while I understand DY's insistence of taking SK with him ( naturally since he would be worried to leave her there with someone who is a stranger to him), I thought it naive of him to think that he could bring her back knowing his father would not want her back alive. You can tell that Ba Woo is slowly developing feelings for her. He doesn't say it but Cha Do expresses whatever his father feels inside since children have no filter unlike adults; his son is his voice of conscience. Ba Woo has many times been conflicted to save SK since he understands it is not exactly his place to do so. But Cha Dol's nagging always changes his mind. I like SK more with each episode. Yuri is doing a good job portraying someone who has lived a sheltered life but is now fast adapting to the changes around her . Her archery skills came in handy when they were pursued by her FIL's men. She is a lot more resilient and quick witted than we were shown at first Although she was initially against BW stealing , she has quickly learned that sometimes one has no choice but to very "creative" to make some money. I was pleasantly surprised she had no qualms of being "Robin Hood " here peddling off fake wife certificates to get enough money to treat not only DY but the other village folks who were at the physician's place. It definitely provided some hilarious moments.
  18. This reminds me of all the tragic HK melodramas I watch growing up. Coming to think of it I still like all this angsty melodramas over pure rom-coms. ahahahaha My taste like the domestic viewers? New stills https://newsis.com/view/?id=NISX20210530_0001458124&cID=10601&pID=10600 More background to the history
  19. LOL...that drama special was little bit depressing I have to say. But I did love their pairing there. -------------- KJS arriving for the filming of Knowing Bros as part of this drama's promotions https://www.newsen.com/news_view.php?uid=202105271245373510
