  1. @40somethingahjumma @NiteWalker I finished eps 20 earlier. This show is addictive , so much so I have not caught up with some of my kdramas this week. Apart from the main pair , I like the relationship dynamics between Jin Yu and Jin Li. It is rather refreshing to see brothers not fight each other for position and power - I can see how protective they are of each other . I am still laughing at how Jin Li princess carried Jin Yu to the room because he was so worried JY was not well. LOL. The writer of this show is doing a great job. For one it is easy to understand the politics that is going on. And being an investigative show , they don't make it too hard for the average viewer as well. There's logic . Also I appreciate that the romance is weaved nicely into the big picture of finding his father and confirming her birth origins. And Jin Yu is an excellent ML - except for his feelings for Chu Chu - he is calm but decisive in his decision making. He deserves the role that he holds as Commander Prince.
  2. I am right at that episode , and just came to say what an idiot this Chu He is. For someone who is supposedly trained as a coroner, how can you trust the words of a man you have just met . But I do really like eps 18...seeing Jin Yu get angry with Chu chu for jumping into the river made my day. Somebody please tell the man he is in love. I know her background being a rebel's daughter ( not confirmed at this point ) may be a small stumbling block for the pair but I trust Jin Yu's character enough to know he will get to the bottom of things. @NiteWalker I see them doing a lot interviews all of a sudden...are they getting a lot of buzz on weibo? @UnniSara are you watching this too? It is good.
  3. @Tofu that was so adorable. I am ok with LJH since I have only seen him in Househelper where he was a really good person and then of course River when he turned so vengeful. But what is amazing is that this babysitting isn't a one-off thing and the neighbour trusts him so much. The girl wasn't even bothered when her father left. LOL. The little girl didn't want to go home...and his sister so sweet
  4. For those who like Memory couple . So cute
  5. @Alice Wonderland I was teasing you about the abs badge . I don’t make the badges . @Tofu is the one . But we’ll look into it . I’ll check with @mademoiselle for some nice pics as well .
  6. ahahaah...for his sake I hope not ...but I saw the synopsis: Bride of Black revolves around a remarriage information company that caters to the upper-class society. Earlier, it was reported that multi-awarded actress Kim Hee-sun (Alice) received an offer to portray the female protagonist Seo Hye-seung. Hye-seung is a typical wealthy homemaker in Gangnam who is entering the remarriage market following the death of her husband. Lee Hyun-wook will reportedly suit up as the male lead and act opposite Seo, should the actress decide to join the project. Lee Hyun-wook began his acting profession in 2000 by playing roles in short films. This went on for over ten years before he got the opportunity to make his television debut in the action-thriller series Three Days (2014). After succeeding periods of essaying supporting roles in Mrs. Cop 2 (2016) and Strangers From Hell (2019), as well as doing cameos in Pegasus Market (2019) and The Good Detective (2020), Lee landed his first main role in the 2020 military thriller Search. Now, it appears like the 35-year-old artist is on the road to reaching more career milestones, following his main cast participation in the recently concluded romantic drama She Would Never Know (2021) and the ongoing tvN series Mine. https://www.kdramapal.com/mine-actor-lee-hyun-wook-confirmed-star-new-netflix-korean-original-series/ Remarriage market...ahem is he gonna con some rich widow? aahahahah
  7. Urgggghhhh I knew this agent would be a problem. She liked him then in the past & looks like she still does. And oh my did SY's world just crumble in that minute. Preview
  8. Agreed. I was laughing my head off when I realised she was trying to produce her own food. Yeah she's such an ingenuous person and that trusting nature of hers may be misused. Fortunately, she's in very safe hands now that she vows to work for Jin Yu for life! I thought it so cute when she unabashedly admired him by listing out all his qualities in eps 13. He tried to keep a poker face but ahahaha...he was so pleased. Anyway even his brother was surprised he would be so upset when he thought Chu Chu didn't trust him. Talking about the women in this show, I like Leng Yue too - she's pretty kick-ass and smart. Poor Jing Yi is clearly in love with her but it looks like due to feuding family problems his parents are trying to marry her off to Jin Yu instead. Ahhh also more new names ...Duke Chang ...hmmm who could this be? Chu chu's father ? And one more thing - I found it somewhat gross that Chu chu's bro wanted to marry her even if they are not blood related.
  9. New stills Rainbow team vs Baek's guys https://www.newsen.com/news_view.php?uid=202105211312500310
  10. @SnowBlob I just finished both subbed episodes. I get what SY is going for with regards to not having prosecuted Chief Sec Kim at first & clearing him of the suspicion - I know she is going after the bigger fish which was to find out who leaked the videos. I agree with what she did because the last thing she would want is for her & the CIO to be "used" by someone else. Unfortunately , unknown to her she has spies planted in her camp. This is a power grab of sorts between the Prosecution office , NIS and the CIO. Of course for the NIS - Chief Im wants to make sure the Budget Transparency Act can never be passed . The NIS has a sky high allocation of the government budget and we can see from his secret safe what he has been doing with it. The Prosecution office wants to remain the most powerful law agency in SK . It is such an uphill task for the CIO . SY may have lost the battle for now but she I don't think has lost the war - Choo like you said is has now chosen which master he wants to serve. What worries more is all this undercover things that Jung Hyun is doing. I feared for him when he had to escape & he stood on the ledge while trying to expose the spy camera. He is still very much an agent at heart - his investigative skills and hunches have not left him. And he obviously has to protect SY. But it is also exposing his true identity & potentially endangering his family. The ending of eps 8 shows what a conflicted situation he is in. In some ways , whatever choices he made 20 years ago to walk away from the NIS using a different identity , and to hide who he actually was from SY is definitely coming to haunt him. And it looks like from preview he would be framed for murder -------- New stills ....looks like she'd misunderstand him... https://sports.donga.com/article/all/20210521/107051721/1
  11. I haven't had the time to watch last night's but IB survived the jump with minor injuries. But I think his uncle did set fire to some of the places that Dohak wanted to develop IB spent some time recuperating at his grandma's and at least they somewhat reconnected And I think his grandma passed away later - hence the funeral scene in last night's preview. He show's his uncle's letter to JiA It just seems that this week JinA is going through a low ...she fainted at the end here. From some earlier cuts she found some things about her mum & she was angry with her mum's actions/ choices Preview...oh my - looks like she quits the business
