  1. yes! Do watch it with us because it’s super good! I just wish they’d air more than 1 episode per week bec it’s so hard waiting for each episode!
  2. Gah!!!! EPISODE 14!!! It delivered and MORE!! I honestly did not expect Da-li’s response to Moo-Hak’s declaration of love. I really thought she was going to turn him down to protect him and when instead she told him she loved him too, I SCREAMED! I am so happy that Da-li finally decided to be with him. And my ghad!!! The scene of them passionately kissing as they make their way to the bed was all sorts of hot, funny and sweet at the same time. Moo-hak saying “my back…” when he bumps against the table and the repeated times Da-li pulls him down as he’s trying to undress was EPIC! I love that their personalities still shone through even with their bed scene. and how cute is Moo-hak gushing to himself! I love that he cannot contain his giddiness. He didn’t even try to hide it in front of his employees. And their reaction as they watched him on the phone with Da-li! And can we also take a moment to appreciate the scene with Wontak?! The way Moo-hak banged on that door yelling “Jagiya! Jagiya!” I DIED! He’s seriously like a little child finding himself inside a toy store for the first time. His excitement was palpable. And when Da-li tells Wontak they are dating, his reaction! “do you even have anything to talk about?” HAHAHAHA! I love that Da-li says they click and she finds Moo-hak funny. This is why I love them together. Da-li sees Moo-Hak for who he is and loves him just the way he is. Moo-Hak may be the last thing people would expect for Da-li to end up with but his sincerity is exactly what she needs. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THEM! I would even love to see more of Won-Moo-Da together. The scenes of the three of them make me laugh so hard! As for Tae-Jin (ugh honestly I didn’t even want to write about him in this post bec he’s so vile), I am glad that Da-li is finally on to him being the bad guy behind all of this. I sure hope that Ki-chul steps up and exposes him.
  3. @Alice Wonderland @SilverMoonTea you guys lost me. Which drama are you ranting about? This one?
  4. This looks interesting. I love fake marriages turned real stories and I am a fan of Xu Kai so I’ll be checking this one out when it airs. I loved Yang Mi in Eternal Love but haven’t really seen any of her other works. My only concern is that Yang Mi looks older than Xu Kai and I don’t know how that’s going to look onscreen.
  5. Just finished watching ep 8 and GAAHHH! I can't believe Ji-Woon kissed Hwi/Dam-i!!!! Rowoon is doing such an amazing job here as Ji-Woon - his micro-expressions and his eyes! His eyes say so much every time he's around Hwi/Dam-i. I worry about the next episode with Hwi/Dam-i getting married. How will this impact Ji-Woon, Hyun and Hwi/Dam-i? As if it's not already complicated enough. It was so satisfying to see Hwi/Dam-i punch the Ming Eunuch. He totally deserved it for being such a jerk. I love that Hwi/Dam-i is so protective of the people around her - even when it came to Ga-On. Speaking of which, it looks like my suspicions were right in that Ga-on is related to Hwi's tutor who was executed in the beginning. I wonder how he truly feels about Hwi/Dam-i. I am starting to really like him.
  6. Honestly, the way Sara has behaved thus far leaves me seething that I don't even want her to end up with Gun. Hopefully she redeems herself later on.
  7. I am hoping that if she does return, that she’ll be a force for good rather than another obstacle for DD and YG. Who is the lawyer? I recently watched She would Never Know and I really liked her character there. I’m hoping she’ll be a good character in this one too.
  8. @mademoiselle this isn’t my usual genre but I’m interested in checking it out. I do like sci-Fi and watch it occasionally. So it’s airing on Apple+?
  9. Yeah there's really nothing exciting in C Drama land right now which is why I'm watching 2 dramas from the "Other Dramas" category and potentially starting another one there that Silvermoon recommended.
  10. It also doesn’t look like DD’s father’s sister knows yet that DD is the tutor for YG. This certainly complicates things for her because she knows her sister likes YG and so does Sara who is also close to her. I wonder who she will eventually support. Lol The part where Sara reprimands Se Chan was so frustrating to watch but I’m glad Se Chan was smart enough to handle the situation. I love that he chose to lie to protect both DD and his grandma but still punished his grandma to deter her from doing the same thing later on. Poor DD is going to have to go through a lot in this household but thankfully she now has her mother protecting her. And because YG knows her better, hopefully he won’t be so quick to judge her in the future and will prove to be comforting shoulder for her to lean on. I really liked the part when he looked for her to comfort her and even gave her a bike ride to make her feel better.
  11. Yes! It’s so rare to see this much kissing and PDA especially in a C drama. Not only that, but they look so natural together that I can no longer distinguish the line between acting and realism. Lol @abs-oluteM doesn’t it remind you of the chemistry between Johnny and Dilreba in Love Designer? They were also so believable in that one. I am so glad that both leads are choosing to stay together despite everything. No noble idiocy and no chances for the second leads to even get close.
  12. Shirtless Orad is definitely a feast for the eyes excuse me while I replay this scene over and over and over again. And the look he gives her when she looks at him. So it looks like Toem (Alice) likes Orad and she’s upset with him for loving someone else? It seems to me she’s wanting Kawas to choose for themselves instead of being obedient to Kakarayan. I am still unclear to what she’s after. As for Orad, why doesn’t he just tell Tsen Ti that he likes her? Whenever I see flashbacks of their time together, I can’t help but feel sad that Tsen Ti has does not remember them as well as he does. He was so sweet to her! And how adorable that he always went above and beyond for her. Even going as far as giving her the autographed photo of Greg Hsu!
  13. Okay so it looks like Sakisaka is finally opening up to Naho and I am so glad they are finally together. I have to say though that the story telling for this drama at times feels disjointed. Sakisaka goes from telling his friend that he can’t see himself being happy with anyone and then the next thing you see is him kissing Naho and then they’re sitting at the field together and him asking her to stay with him. I wish the drama did a better job of showing us the progression of growth with Sakisaka. at times I also feel frustrated with Naho because she seems to blindly like Sakisaka with no explanation for why she likes him so much despite everything.
  14. @Tofu you really need to watch ep 3 because it explains a lot about Tien Ti and Orad’s history, why the grandmother left her and the story behind the ring she wears. Of course there’s still a lot of questions unanswered so we will have to keep watching to find out more. I also don’t know why she’s able to see the Kawas but it looks like this might be due to what happened to her as a child. I wonder, if, when she broke the comb and regained her memories, it also brought back her ability to see the Kawas. It looks like she was always able to see Orad since he became her guardian angel.
  15. Ep 11 was really cute and I’m glad to see YG and DD get closer together. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised that YG and DD found out they’ve met before, this early on in the drama. But it make sense to reveal this now because I think it will help develop a closeness between them and break down walls because it gives them a sense of familiarity with each other. In a way, it helps them see each other in a new light. I think what has endeared DD to YG in such a short period of time is her genuine love and care for his children. Unlike Sara, DD is more concerned about the children than anything else while Sara is using them simply as a means to an end. The children is what YG and DD share in common. So it looks like I was right in that DD’s father might be the lost brother. I wonder how this is going to impact all of them. as for Se Ryun and Dae Bom, I actually felt sorry for them in this episode. Here’s two people who genuinely like each other but can’t be together due to their difference in status. The part where Dae Bom tells Se Ryun that he sells meat sticks for $4 and will never be able to afford an apartment like the one she’s living in was such a cold reality. It goes to show that DB is aware of his inability to provide SR the lifestyle she is used to. Se Ryun’s response was disappointing when she tells him he doesn’t even have to work because she would provide for them. It goes to show how immature she still is. It would have been better for her to say that she admires him for his hard work and that she doesn’t expect him to give her the same lifestyle but to try his best in whatever he chooses to do. I think DB is trying to give it his best for his own dignity so that he has something to show for himself. Se Ryun doesn’t even seem to be working for her money and is likely benefiting from YG.
  16. It’s so interesting reading all of the comments being shared here. I am really enjoying this drama and look forward to each episode. I also questioned Dam-i’s mother’s choice to have her impersonate Hwi when clearly it’s not a long term solution as one day, Hwi would have had to marry and produce an heir. Producing an heir isn’t so much the issue but rather how will Dam-I be able to hide her true identity in marriage. But I do think it wasn’t meant to be a long term solution but rather the best solution for the circumstance they found themselves in at that time. The problem is that once they find out that Hwi was killed, hey would have questioned who was posing as Hwi while he was out and about. Dam-I would have been killed right then and there. The crown princess would have also been killed and anyone else who knew about the impersonation. I think Dam-it’s mother’s decision was driven by her wanting to keep Dam-I alive more than anything else. She had already tried to send her away once when she was just a baby and somehow Dam-I still ended up at the palace. That decision was a painful one for her to make and now after losing Hwi, I think she was more desperate to just keep her last remaining child alive no matter the cost. I think too that Ji-un can’t help but feel attracted to Hwi because he reminds him of the maid he encountered before. in all honesty I cannot predict how this one is going to end because Dam-I seems to have a doomed ending whatever she chooses. I am hoping for a happy ending though!
  17. The episodes this weekend are full of sugar that I think I’m getting diabetes! I’m so glad the MIL didn’t end up being a mean one but rather a lovely lady who is so supportive and accepting of Xi Xi. I had a feeling she would be nice just because Si Chen’s dad and grandmother have both been nice. I thought it was adorable when the ladies went for a shopping spree and Si Chen had to follow them and carry their bags for them. I also loved seeing SC’s mom brag about XX and was even trying to get XX to launch her brand in the international market. and the scene where XX comes home after her 3-month schooling and they’re kissing, only to be surprised by everyone! I also appreciate the fact that despite Xi Wei’s tactics, SC’s mom never got swayed and in fact only sees her as a sister to Si Chen. Xi Wei… ugh… honestly she just needs to get slapped. HARD! I wish SC would stop giving her chances and just punish her already! The scene he confronts her about XX’s diary and she starts to grab his arm and he literally flings her off him was so satisfying. Mo Xin also just needs to leave XX alone. Even though he wants to help XX, he’s crossing the boundaries and I feel like it’s very disrespectful to SC as her husband. I can’t believe they left us hanging and we have to wait a whole week for the last 2 episodes!
  18. @Tofu I also love Mu Hak. I can’t say enough good things about him and I love that he is someone who Da-li can lean on despite everything. How reassuring and warm it must feel for her to have someone like him who provides her a safe place in all the chaos going around her.
  19. I really hope Mu Hak doesn’t decide to drop Da-Li because of this incident. I would much prefer to see them weather the storm together. Tae Jin sickens me and I can’t wait for Da-li to realize it’s him behind all of this. I skimmed through ep 11 but without the subs, I can’t understand any of it.
  20. Hopefully the amnesia will be short because I cannot stand Jo Sara. I’m hoping that even with Sara lying to him that he doesn’t become affectionate with her. I don’t think I’ll be able to stomach it. Lol Based on the descriptions though, despite Sara lying to him, he seems to still notice and fall for DD.
  21. As most of you have already said, both Xi Wei and MZ are DELUSIONAL!! Especially since SC has made it ABUNDANTLY clear to Xi Wei that he has ZERO feelings for her and that no matter what she does, he only has eyes for XX. I don’t even know how much more clearer SC has to make it for her to understand. Girl, have some self respect! As for MZ, I don’t understand why he is still so insistent on pursuing XX when she already told him she liked SC when she was drunk. That’s about as honest as one can get. I get that she means a lot to him and that they have a history together but c’mon.. he’s literally just a nuisance at this point. I don’t blame SC for protecting his territory. I have to say that I am so glad that SC can see past Xi Wei’s antics which is why Xi Wei can never win. And I am glad that he is loyal to XX. The fact that he waited for her during her birthday was so sweet. I was so happy when he called out Xi Wei to her face and said, “you’re just here hoping to make XX misunderstand. You should go”. I was literally yelling “yeah! You tell her!” l am glad that both leads have confessed their feelings and are together now. The scene when XX gets sick and she’s lying down on the couch and SC was kneeling beside her and cradling and caressing her was just soooo sweet. The two of them are so natural together. So much so that I find it hard to believe he is just acting with the way he looks at her.
  22. Is there supposed to be an amnesia arc in this one?
  23. Gosh ep 3! Seeing the history between Orad and Tien Ti was so sweet. As it turns out, Tien Ti's memories of Orad were erased. Who erased them is yet to be revealed along with what mistake Orad made 5 years ago. Was the mistake the kiss? I am curious as to why Fali and Kariah have to do with it. I am curious too as to why Orad was sent as Tian Ti's guardian angel. Considering his seemingly high position being the only messenger, I wonder why he was the one sent to be her guardian angel of all the Kawas. The preview for ep 4 looks like Orad loses his powers. I wonder if it's because he ends up saving her?
  24. Just started this and have to say I’m really enjoying it so far. I have just finished parts 1 and 2 of episode 1 and I already liked Orad. There seems to be more to him that meets the eye and I can’t wait to see more. really surprised to see Joe Chen in this one!
