@bluepebbles My history is bad. BW and SK are fictional characters set in this era right? So how does BW and SK fit into the larger scheme of things? Will we get our happy ending? I know the K-netz have been quite particular (especially of late) about historical inaccuracies in spite being the drama being a fictional work ( I am still sore that they protested so hard against Joseon Exorcist, urghhh) . @1217akkum4 This drama has many lovely OSTs but the 3rd one stuck in my head the most possibly due to the intro. @HerManyShows It will be such a waste of their chemistry if we don't get a kiss. Yuri's fanbase subbed one of her Insta live where they were promoting the drama I have some things I am curios about: Cha Dol's mum is supposedly a YangBan or something right ? As in she comes from a good family? She showed some token to Ba Woo's mum. So BW and SK share the room right? What do you think are their current sleeping arrangements? :P

Oh that is lovely. I am looking forward to his next project - I have a feeling it will be a movie since he tends to alternate his projects. So what is the oppa adoption criteria for you all ? For me it has to be that I like their acting , looks and that I can imagine them in a bed scene or giving us some fan service.... @IpohBanana This Tian Yong is completely old school. I lol-ed so hard at the Books of Poems. I don't know if I should be happy or worried for him that Shrieking cousin likes him so much. He's a sweet guy and a gentleman - perhaps he really is the only one that can handle her yo-yo emotions. Aiyo @SnT there was so much teasing going on in eps 16 , near kiss & accidental kiss...ahahah what trope has this drama not used yet. But I did like that he is with her in all these critical moments. The car chase scene was quite manic . I hope she realises ZR's real face soon.

At eps 16...I am laughing hard....when LMZ said he'd rather hear her say the magical 3 words instead of thanking him Expectations... Reality This Liang Mu Ze...such a tease! Oh gosh....they kissed in front of Shrieking Cousin. I cannot wait to see the latter's reaction.

Watching eps 19 - LMZ is a saint isn’t he ? He just offered his bank card so that she could get some funds to help treat that girl with paraquat poisoning. And how many cakes did he buy make for her now? But I definitely agree with Mi Gu - Xia Chu go get your hair washed !

Aiyo getting younger & younger ....do you think I am like @SilverMoonTea ? Baahahaha.... Tan Joon Sang is only 18 and handsome boy Bang is only 19 . Lookwise I prefer Bang like @ktcjdrama. Call me shallow ! However TJS is the more talented actor . But I cannot enter them into my oppa league yet . Not so much because of age, just not there yet. @Warm Paws I did find it weird too how the whole conflict between who was the ace between HK and Bang. But I think HK will be the better player because of his natural gift as an athlete. What he lacked before was training. Now there will be no stopping him once he puts his heart into it.

I just finished the final episode and was very happy with how it all wrapped up. The final scenes of how JH saved YS from ImHR and the court case was nothing short of dramatic of course. But at the end of the day, justice was served since Im went to jail. I was glad he didn't die during that fall because death would have been to easy. What I also appreciated was that when JH took the witness stand , it was finally a recording from DG (who sent it to JH just before he died) which put Im to jail . The tablet could not actually be used since by law it was considered as obtained illegally. Also the recording brought up Lee Suk Gyu , so JH was prepared to admit to him using a false identity. He went to jail for one year for it. And YS also resigned after that to take responsibility. I love the ending bit too when the kids & YS came to greet upon his release from jail. The kids changed their surnames . They also had a scene of JH taking the family to pay respects to his father's memorial. YS and Chu DW later on went on to open a law firm together with the rest of them joining as staff. Chu DW definitely played a big role in helping YS at the CIO. He was also the prosecutor for Im's case. Also love how they did the 1st & last scene. Whether he was LSG or HJH, he clearly loved YS and his family. And just like what Seung Mi mentioned , because they are family , you can forgive each other of anything. Overall this was a very good watch and one that I can add to dramas I enjoyed in 2021. Strong casting and a great plot. Recommended!

From the additional descriptions that you have added to their characters, this is my interpretation with regards to what to expect for the love lines IkSong- PD is gonna do a "will they won't they" for the entire season. WG - enjoy the honey moon period ( maybe they'll make it angsty at the end of S2 as we go into S3) Bidulgi - rocky road ahead ( but I have a feeling that a wedding may actually happen for them) Gom -gom - prepare for love triangle ! Let's get ready for a long season. 4 months ( assuming 16 episodes ) - gosh let's hope I will last....ahahaha

Eps 5 The boys continue to bond , and now Hae Kang is committed to the team. Class president being the newbie seems to have adapted well , and when partnered with Woo Chan shows promise of being a good doubles team. Coach Yoon decided to pair Hae Kang with team captain Bang hoping to create an ace team given both are his strongest players. But of course like any good coming of age school or sports drama, the characters will have to go through character development - HK and Bang both had to learn to deal with their egos and find a way to work as a team. Coach Yoon was accused by Bang's father ( who was surprisingly very involved in Bang's development despite having so many kids to look after) of playing favorites since HK is his son and that Yoon was a lousy coach more concerned with playing games with his charges. The thing is that the writer of this show , just like in Prison Playbook, likes to make you think the worst about a character , only for you to realise that you shouldn't have judge a book by its cover. As the episode progressed, Yoon's decision was the right one as the boys finally found common ground and a new goal that forced them to work together . They were indeed good being able to beat the uni students who had come for a friendly match. Yoon was also shown to be actually very concerned and put in a lot of hours analysing their games. The other interesting thing for me in this episode was discovering that Yong Tae has inherited his father's skills & knowledge where natural medicine is concerned. He saved Woo Chan who had accidentally eaten some wild poisonous plant . He also was of help to Soo Yeon by getting his father to come up with some natural medication for SY's headache at Hae Kang's request. I was wondering in one of the forest scenes why YT had tied his scarf. We find out later he was using it to mark the place where he found these expensive wild roots that was highly sort after. LOL ...who knew his father would spot his scarf and get to the roots first. No wonder the dad bough him a new phone. Though like YT said those roots could have bought 5 phones! Last bit of eps 5 was super cute especially with the blossoming of the teenage romance. Gosh to be 16 and liking someone. SY who has never wanted to play mix doubles is suddenly entertaining the idea and to play with Hae Kang too. Coach Ra has no idea why she had a change of heart . LOL!
