  1. @Darkarcana @bluepebbles I know how he go hit . He was running for his life. But of all the people in the world Hee Sung could have hit, turned out to be son of the man that “ supposedly terrified him, a serial killer” It was a rhetorical  question?? Hee Sung is like is this a coincidence, Is Do Min-Seok using his son for revenge blah blah. HEe Sung is trying to paint Hyun Soo as a killer, a monster or someone who is threat to them. Then his gather says he has been taken care of already . Look at Hee Sung be manipulative

Our Hyun Soo finally feeling lost and scared. My highlight of episode 11 started the moment she told him to run away @bluepebbles  I loved seeing them both be honest with each other. She already wished she could switch with him so he can finally understand how much she loves

Evil Man   Baek Hee Sung is a psychopath and very disturbed. I have so many questions. Did he kill Min Seok or was it Suicide. I have no idea if mentioned it here , I knew it was Hee Sung who the accomplice. I recognized his voice when he said “Ahjumma” I told a friend this when he came on Scene.  He used to say Ahjumma a lot in Jang Bori Come. I have seen other drama when he said Ahjumma and it sounded the same.

I am wondering the same thing Why ?? Was it Do Hyun Soo he hit with his car??? I think maybe the Universe wants him to pay for his crimes. This man has been free when only Min-Seok’s name is dragged in the mud. Smh smh

  3. Episode 11  was sad but actually a relief for me. It brought me to tears like episode 9-10 did.

JW and Do Hyun Soo ‘s relationship has gotten stronger. Secrets have been revealed and now we know who we can trust.  JW’s Sunbae knows everything, I thought I would hate him but he was actually nice and helped her out. He tried to protect her till the end.( This drama really depicted how we humans are just shallow and judgmental. How our fear instinctively take control our actions. ) Hyun Soo learned he loves his wife, the devastation of losing his family broke him down. JW was able to give her husband something meaningful:  her trust and love. She stood by him and decided to start over. In all that chaos he started to tell his “ his journey that brought him to her”, I  was so moved by those words.  I wished that kiss when they got home was more steamy but I understand at that moment it was about the moment

Reporter Min Joo was my hero, he actually tired to save Hyun Soo. He was actually worried for him since he now knows Ji Won knows everything. He told Hae Soo and she is devastated. What does she plan to do now?? Hae Soo took a big chance to help her brother and I fell bad that Hyun Soo lied to her about his fake family. Painted them as heros but truthfully they were the worst. They were only trying to protect themselves.

Hee Sung’s parents are the worst. I truly believe he is a psychopath. He has no empathy for what he has done in the past and says that Min-Seok terrified him and that is why he did all those things. He did it to protect his parents. I myself wonder if his mom believes him but I do know his father does believe him. I am dying to know how deep are Hee Sung’s father love for his son. At one time I thought it was deep but in episode 11 he just looks disgusted by him . His mom is just full of guilt. Once she heard Hyun Soo May was taken care of she had a guil written all over her face, with her son she looks so tormented.

@UnniSara Good luck! I hope you get to finish the book before going back to webnovels again haha.

I love the Mercy Thompson series too and am up to date to her latest. The books on Underworld and the mysterious walking stick are some of my favourites.

She also has another series with Charles and Anna. Have you tried that?

@Chocolate I am glad to have found someone here who enjoy this series too. I never had the opportunity to start. Bohooo  :( :idk: I was busy trying to watch Flower of Evil. I was so caught up in the moment. I had to go and chat with a friend about it.  So I changed my plan, I will start reading it on my way home.  Maybe will finish the book by tomorrow morning.  I love the Mercy Universe because of all the secrets to the supernatural world was revealed.
I pity Stefan and wonder will Patricia find him a true love.  I really like Stefan and son want him to find a true love. Am I too cruel?? I feel it would betray the feeling he has already admitted to and make it appear false IMO. What do you think?

We have the same taste in book. Ilona Andrews is another favorite author of mine.  You should try the Hidden Legacy Series by Ilona Andrews

  5. I have been reading The Mercy Thomson Novel religiously until I was introduced to Webnovels. I was so hooked that I didn’t even finished the #12 book to Mercy Thompson series.  First Book is  Moon Called where you are introduced to a Were Coyote names Mercy.  Mercy’s universe is so interesting because in this series we find out how werewolves are created, we meet vampires, Fairies , witches ect.... The Authors created world where the human can coexist with the supernatural or can they really learn to live with them. Patricia Briggs werewolves lifestyle is different from other Werewolves, same goes for fairies, witches and Vampires. Their lifestyle is so unique that you really can’t stop but enjoy the story she has created.  I recommend this series by PATRICIA BRIGGS.

I plan to try to read this book later  in 6 hours wish me luck .

it was nice to finally have a scene of Shi mok and YJ alone. SM is still most comfortable when talking to her , and they understand each other well , no words needed . Their partnership working on things together like in Season 1 , is something that we see little off this Season. Well for those ahem, hoping to see some further development, this is the only crumb the writer is going to give you :smug: (@SilverMoonTea) I do feel bad that both their respective bosses are aware of their friendship, and expects them to exploit it to get info.

Their friendship was golden, the honesty between them beautiful. Shi Mok and Han Yeo Jin will have to make a choice soon on what they want from their career soon because now a life is on the line. I fear they both have grown tired of doing the right thing all the time. They trust each other and he made sure not to involve HYJ in giving out secrets to betraying her boss. Both have come to the realization that they are being used. I wonder how will they tackle their bosses.

When I started this drama I thought I would be judging these characters on good and evil but that is not the case. In episode 6 I believe, CB admits that some people have no other choices when they are pulled in someone's scheme. These schemes may affect their career for good.  SDJ's still has a career but no trust him because of his past actions. In episode 2 SDJ tried to imply to SM that the cop was murdered because he wouldn't mind his own business. Shouldn't he had taken his own advice when he was trying to solve the suicide case. He has not been careful and not informing SM on his plans step by step. Sure after hearing his complaint on how hard his life is as a prosecutor , it did move me but at the same time. He should also consider that his actions will also affect his families reputation also. His investigations got him way to close the truth and is not kidnapped or maybe murdered.

Kang Won-Cheol appeared to be a bit fishy for me , in episode 5 I saw him in a new light after he spoke to Shi Mok. Shi Mok just wanted to help an old friend from the team he worked with.  KWC's answer made sense because he has no jurisdiction and it would put him in a bad light. It shook SM to the core seeing him also asking for a favor. KWC explained to him , it is a part of life . Special treatment aren't meant to be with bad intentions but purely a way to get things done much quicker.

I enjoyed how he told Kim Sa Hyun working with SM will only hurt them.  He knew SM's character and they didn't . They chose him because of his good reputation and did not investigate how obsessive he gets in solving a case. Deep down SM believes in justice and how you get it should be done the right way.  HJ was picked because she has a good reputation, CB also thought YJ is an ambitious person willing to do anything to get there. That isn't the case at all, she hates seeing injustice. She really wants to help people and she empathize with the victims. Don't worry @abs-oluteM  they won't be able to use them at all. They will never allow it. They care to much for each other.

@stroppyse Thanks for the translation chingu. LIke you said on discord, " whoever has the ability to request/ get warrants has more power is disgusting. I believe WT and CB was dragged in the situation they are in. Instead of being disgusted by it , they grown used to it and not looked back. So for now they would like it to remain the same. Each of them have gotten a tasted of what has happened to YJ. Now we just have to wait and see what is Han Yeo Jin's next move.

CT discarded her children when she didn't need them and picked them up when she sees they have some uses. She left LX's and sister locked in the house to had some fun, when her daughter died she blamed her son and "gave" him away to a little girl. After that she gave birth to another daughter whose mind she poisoned with thoughts that LX is her real brother that will loves her etc etc (which is out of norms as Chinese because we don't considered half sibs from Mom's as real sibs). She represents Little Orange as a replacement of her dead daughter (talking about the same birthmark etc). She then uses her to get back to LX. I don't see any motherly love from her so far, all I see is a woman who uses her children as tools to get what she wants.

@OsmanthusTea. I saw that too. I mentioned in a previous post. She used her daughter to get LX to accept her.  I don’t think Little Orange ( WHY DOES EVERYONE CALL HER THAT??)  knows what happened to her sister or know of her existence. I don’t think this woman should be in their life because by nature she can poison her grandkids from their mother by spoiling them. I don’t think highly of a woman like that. I also CT’s mom was also bias and treated her daughter better than the uncle which is one reason he was ready to abandon her.

CT, left LX because she can't stand the sight of him who serves as a living reminder of her own failure. She was not a good mother to begin with. She often neglected her children before that. She considered herself as a victim and everyone is out to get her. After she feels better she comes back and thinking because she is the victim, her son should accepts her with open arms. She disregarded her son's feelings because in her eyes she's the only victim. She is incapable of empathetic. She shoved Little Orange to her son thinking she got him a replacement for his dead sister because that what she think of Little Orange.  She has never realizes that Little Orange is like salts rubbing to LX's wounds.

Since the beginning the drama portrayed CT as a selfish mother. She left her 3 yo daughter to be taken care by her not much older Bro and padlocked the house while she had fun played mahjong. After accident happened she blamed everyone especially the son and when she was being called out she cannot takes it and left the son.

After so many years she came back and think just because she’s the mother and rich, the son will accept her with no Q asked and shoved her mini me under his throat. Unfortunately she got into accident and once again her selfishness shown in how she demands attention physically and emotionally from her son.

Her attitude during up and down period of her life is the same, selfish, self centered and narcissistic.

CT is a very selfish attitude, we all saw how her own brother refused to take care of her. Her sister in law also didn't want to take care of her. They only cared for the imediate family.  In Korean and Chinese drama's , I always find it funny that the male child must take care of their parents but in this drama, it fell on LX's father. Why is that??? LX is CT's son, his mom abandoned him, she refused to see him for 10 years and then Grandma took it upon herself to intervene.  In my opinion CT took the easy route. Instead of getting help to cure her guilty conscious, she chose to have another baby. The New Baby was the way to help her heal her supposed " Illness" but it didn't.  LX knew his mother well. If he had let his sister go live with her Uncle and grandma, CT would have been even more cruel to LX.  CT by nature is selfish, narcissistic and self centered. She is judgmental and believes she is better than other people. When she was sick, I felt the uncle was wrong to call LX terrible son after his mom abandoned him. Saying that his mom already knew what kind of a person he is. To say that to a kid who already had so much guilt on his shoulders was so wrong. It made me sick to see that.

@Lynne  Since this a healing drama, both son and mother needs counseling. CT needs to apologize and own up to her mistake.  When I myself blame her for her daughters death. LX was only trying to please his sister.

Also, we see Yoon Se Won (Lee Kyu Hyung) again! Not sure if this was just a cameo of whether he's going to play a part again, but it was good to see him.

I was so happy to see him.  Who do you think sent him the mysterious package???

    i think it was Shi-Mok.

@40somethingahjumma  and @stroppyse both your post makes so much sense.
At the end of the day there must be a balance because HUMANS are easily tempted to do the wrong thing.

I feel sad for ZQ both of his biological parents are all horrible.

@Alice Wonderland Please read the spoiler tag after watching episode 27-28

    Spoiler

It saddens me to say, I think she left him for a good reason. It was something she couldn’t tell her family. It was implied in episode 28 that she left him for his sake. She may not be like ZB.  I do feel bad for ZQ but in ending credits she does get forgiven.  She does want to make his life easier but she seems to have forgotten word hurt and there are something you don’t say to your children.

Father Ling finally stepped up. Was so proud of him . He took the initiative to find out what is wrong with his son.  I knew his mother burned him. That selfish Hag!! He protected her. Why ?????? As @NiteWalker said she is changing but needed to vent after watching episodes 26-27

Now Father Ling knows he is depressed. He wants to protect his son’s  reputation so he can have a good marriage.

Father Li knows he raised his daughter right. She took the initiative for him to start Dating again .
I think for him there is only one woman for him . She died already, I don’t think he ever planned on getting married

He Mai  I think she is lying . I don’t think she is married. Where is her husband ?? We never see him and her son has a major trauma. ( If she is married and because of budgets they could not find man to pose as a husband it will make me very angry.  She seems to struggling to raise her son because he is always biting other kids for touching his toys. She should know that all children are precious to their parents. All parents wants their kids to be safe.

She bought Eunha egg tart and she also cooked for her. Her husband just don’t know how to take care of her though ☹️

@bluepebbles @OsmanthusTea  Gong Mi-Ja isn’t a bad mom nor is she is a bad person. She loves her son but she has a major Fear!! Having a child that is extremely smart. Remember the tart scene. It all began because she saw how advanced EunHa is. I don’t recall anyone mentioning this.i wondered why did she act like that?? She thinks being smart is bad.

I believe everything is connected.  We will see that the Baek are connected to  Child psychiatry Center Hyun Soo was getting treatment.
Everyone I find something else weird. Since HS left left behind the black bag, he was able to live a normal life. No violent tendencies, no panic attack and no  obsessive behaviors.   He was actually nice to Bae Hee Sung’s mom and ver tolerant to her obsessive behavior towards him.
