@abs-oluteM Agreed! I don't want to see him in a second lead role as I think he's proven he has the ability to take on leading roles. Plus, I don't want to go through another heartache with you and @ktcjdrama. I feel like Reflection of You was enough. Sometimes I wonder if he's keeping the long hair because he wants to be in a sageuk. Haha! That was the first time I saw him, in a sageuk as Nam Ji Hyun's brother.

Kind of random, but not really -- I was wondering why it only costed 800,000 won for the neighbor's hospital bill (in America that would have easily been 5k+ USD). I found this and it explains why...

Will he be the second male lead if he accepts? I remembered reading an article about how Yoo Yeon Seok was offered a male lead role in the same drama. I hope it's not a second male lead role for Kim Jae Young. I'm even ok if he's in the drama but part of a second couple with someone else.

I go back and forth between how I feel about the drama in comparison to the manhwa. I think I have to remember that the drama is not a duplicate of the manhwa, it takes inspiration from it. I do like the drama, but there are some things about the manhwa I liked that I wished the drama kept. I understand if they have to drag out some things like finding out Hari's true identity or Sunghoon's and Youngseo's relationship, but I don't like that they compromised Sunghoon's personality. In the manhwa, he is someone who wears his emotions/heart on his sleeve. He doesn't shy from his feelings even in front of Taemu. As much as Youngseo liked him, he equally liked her, if not more. Their relationship was super adorable because he is so expressive with how he feels. I think I just miss the energy Sunghoon's and Youngseo's had together in the manhwa that I'm not getting from the drama. Haraboji is going to go through a state of shock when he finds out that the Shin Hari he doesn't like and the Shin Geumhui he likes are the same person. Poor haraboji, I felt bad watching Hari not help when he was falling backwards. If anyone is curious about how Taemu found out about Hari's identity in the manhwa, I'll put it in the spoiler tag (it's different from the drama).

@JenL This is a strange storyline but I like both actors so I hope it confirms. Hahaha!

I did not watch Start Up so I'm not getting any of these references. @JenL I agreed with you on their relationship. I dont think Yi Jin sees Hee Do as anything more than a good friend right now. They built a deep bond with each other during their darkest hours (still going through it). I think Hee Do's affection for Yi Jin started after he told her that to feel sad after a break up, you have to had been in love first.

@ktcjdrama I think this drama will be a good binging one. I honestly have no idea what I watched in episode one, everything is so crazy? Haha! I think Krystal's acting is pretty decent in this. Some press conference photos. The full video of the press conference.

Even the leads knew they should have given us a hug!! @40somethingahjumma I thought that when both of them realized they needed to be with each other during the Northern Liang spies case, that we weren't going to have anything else happen. The noble idiocy is so unappetizing the second time around. I had forgotten majority of the things that frustrated me until I read your post and @peperomia's. I read it going, "Ugh, I know! I hated that too!" the entire time.

@abs-oluteM @Chocolate I think it was for the entire thing, so after they are done with the fake dating. Maybe for a couple of sessions that amount would be ok, but she should have added a fee each time he gets upset for no reason.

I looked up what 1,600,000 won converts to, which is what Taemu was willing to pay (it's double what Young Seo paid her). Would all of you still say "yes" knowing that it'll be roughly around the following: $1,300 USD, $1,769.72 SGD, $1,771.89 AUD or $5,429.29 MYR? I think it's a lot of work for that much, but if he threw in a couple company shares, I would do it.

@abs-oluteM The last 10 minutes were really unnecessary. It was just the drama's way of separating the two leads -- which makes no sense considering how much they've gone through. Qiu Yan lied about poisoning his mom because she wanted to protect him (mom was the one who poisoned the dad, not the doctor like they assumed). I'm glad they met at the end, but was it that difficult to have them hug?! They were just staring at each other for so long. 😩 That redemption arc came too late for Qiu Min. I'm no longer invested in her that I didn't care to watch her talk about her growth. I still found this drama enjoyable despite some of the flaws during the latter half of the drama. I love the leads' chemistry and I hope they do another drama together.

@mademoiselle I think all the characters have their own hidden agendas. I don't know what Be Man's plans are but he's not 100% on board with the lawyer guy. I agreed that the mom seems like she's going to be the bigger villain and the CEO is just a pawn. I looked up the actor and apparently he's in Rookie Cops but why don't I remember him? He's part of the main group too. Hahahaha! He was at the boarding house in A Piece of Your Mind, but I don't remember him there either. Maybe I don't remember him because his character is not as sleazy as this one.

That's very true. I think Do Be Man will find out about why she's a military prosecutor in the next episode. The new CEO of IM is kind of annoying and I feel a bit disgusted watching him.

I am! I haven't watched today's episode yet. I've been too caught up with my Chinese drama to participate in the discussions here. Reading all the comments, I'll prepare myself to be annoyed by GYR.

@mademoiselle I watched it because I saw that Chae Soo Bin was the female lead. I like her but her drama/movie choices haven't been the best lately. I watched clips here and there of Military Prosecutor. I think I like Jo Bo Ah's character more when she's wearing her wig.

The girls' relationship in the drama is the same as it was in the manhwa. I'm glad they captured that so well! I loved their scenes the most. @SilverMoonTea But will you stick to the end? Last time you watched a rom-com, you ended up dropping it -- I think it was the gumiho one, right?

I'm caught up and ready for the last two episodes! I'm so glad I did not watch episode 30 last week. I would not have survived waiting for new episodes. I am still heartbroken at Song Jin's death. Why did they have to kill him off? This tribute video was posted on Weibo for him. I think you summed up episode 31-32 pretty well, @peperomia! I have nothing more to add. I like that all of them are coming together and I am not surprised Yuan Lang's personal bodyguard was a spy. Agreed, I thought that she was going to redeem herself but she didn't. I don't care what happens to her from now on. I do think that Qin Xuan deserves a better partner even if I find both of them annoying. There are some Chinese celebrities I think should always stick to historical dramas and Jeremy is one of them. I think he's so charismatic and it elevates when he's in historical clothes and he's not dubbed. I'm pretty excited that majority of his upcoming dramas are going to be historical. I think Be My Princess is a combination of both modern and historical -- it's set in modern times but both leads play actors and their drama together is a historical one. @abs-oluteM I think he looks good in Legend of the Phoenix too, but I have not watched that one.
