  2. New teaser. Introduction to the main characters. The main leads talking about their characters/drama together.
  3. @JenL CJH is so cute in the teasers! I hope the drama is good. I don't watch too many sports drama so I'm a bit worried, but anything for CJH.
  4. YAY!! March 25th, please come faster! Maybe it's just me, but I like their individual stills better than those character photos.
  5. From what I can remember, Haraboji brought Sunghoon to live with them when he was in his teens (either middle or high school). I think Sunghoon is the son of someone who worked for the company. Taemu and Sunghoon grew up together, so they are both. They have a CEO/Secretary relationship and they are friends. Sunghoon really like Taemu but he's always "Mr. Cool" so he shows his affections towards Sunghoon in other ways. I think the cleaning of the apartment is specific to the drama along with the comment about Taemu looking like an archaeopteryx. I don't remember those two happening in the manhwa and Sunghoon also did not live in the same apartment as Young Seo. I watched the first two episodes and they were really enjoyable and fun! Kim Sejeong definitely brought Hari to life! I'm still undecided about Ahn Hyo Seop as Taemu. His version of Taemu is a little different from the manhwa's Taemu. I'm interested to see how AHS is going to say all those cringey lines Taemu has though. Hahaha! By the way, in the manhwa, Hari actually says that her name is "Kim Shin" which is Gong Yoo's character's name in Goblin. @Rina @abs-oluteM In case you both wanted to know the kind of 29+ scene SBS will probably not show, it is in the spoiler tag. There were two of these scenes for them.
  6. @JenL This is me watching both teasers because Chae Jong Hyeop is Here's the full teasers!
  7. You haven't picked up any? Hahaha, no! I need you guys permanently otherwise I don't have any one to watch dramas with. @abs-oluteM He doesn't look too bad in this photo wearing his modern clothes. I still like him better in historical clothes though. Haha!
  8. The last time I saw Li Xian was in Go Go Squid and I disliked his character. I hope this one will be good!
  9. I finished all the episodes today and really enjoyed it. There were a lot of meaningful lessons about the flaws in the judicial system for juveniles. The responsibility of the judges who work in this department is so heavy. I was stressed just reading how much they give their life to their work.
  10. @mademoiselle I don't know what mine is, everyone is a tourist in my heart. But my heart capacity is just a lot smaller than @SilverMoonTea's.
  11. Me too! @Chocolate I think if it was an act of self-defense, that might allow him to still qualify to be a judge?
  12. “A Superior Day” Writers Dish On Why Lee Won Geun, Ha Do Kwon, And Jin Goo Are Perfect For Their Roles Feb 26, 2022 | by E. Cha The writers of OCN’s “A Superior Day” have shared their excitement about the upcoming drama! Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “A Superior Day” is a thriller about the 24-hour nightmare of an ordinary man who must save his kidnapped daughter by murdering the serial killer who lives next door. Jin Goo will star as Lee Ho Chul, a firefighter who has to rescue his kidnapped daughter, while Ha Do Kwon will play Bae Tae Jin, a professional hitman who is chasing serial killer Kwon Si Woo (played by Lee Won Geun). The original webtoon was written by Team Getname, a duo comprised of “Sweet Home” writer Kim Carnby and “Dr. Hound” writer Aruani. Explaining their vision for “A Superior Day,” the writers recalled, “Rather than a long, epic saga, we wanted to create a story that chased events unfolding in real time. We wanted to make readers lose themselves in the story, so that they felt like they were experiencing the main character’s day together with him in real time.” “When we received the offer for a drama adaptation, the thing that made us happiest was that we’d found someone who understood our intentions [while creating the webtoon],” they continued. “From the moment we began planning the webtoon, we’d had video in mind, so we’re really looking forward to seeing the drama version.” Meanwhile, Lee Ji Hyun—the writer of the upcoming drama adaptation—confessed that she’d felt some pressure about living up to the quality of the original. “My biggest concern was capturing the immersive quality of the original webtoon and its ability to draw readers in,” she revealed. “I tried not to lose the frightening suspense of the possibility that a murderer, hidden amongst ordinary people in an ordinary place, could be my next-door neighbor.” However, all the writers agreed that the three leading actors had been perfectly cast in their respective roles. Team Getname marveled, “Jin Goo, Ha Do Kwon, and Lee Won Geun’s synchronization with their characters is 120 percent. They’re creating charming characters that are beyond anything I could ever have dared imagine.” They added, “I can’t wait to see Ha Do Kwon and Lee Won Geun acting out two villains who are polar opposites, as well as Jin Goo desperately fighting back while stuck between them.” Lee Ji Hyun chimed in, “Even just imagining Jin Goo’s flawless portrayal of Lee Ho Chul leaves no room for doubt.” She went on to point out how perfect Ha Do Kwon—a trained classical singer—was for the role of Bae Tae Jin. “The character of Bae Tae Jin first appears in the drama through only his voice, so I thought that the weight of his voice would be crucial,” she explained. “In that respect, I think casting Ha Do Kwon was a stroke of genius.” Finally, she teased, “Through his portrayal of Kwon Si Woo, Lee Won Geun will show the unexpected charm of a twist hiding behind his smiling face, so please look forward to it.” Lee Ji Hyun also noted that viewers will be able to enjoy the drama regardless of whether they’ve read the original webtoon, commenting, “Viewers who read the webtoon first will be able to have fun comparing the similarities and differences between [the drama and the webtoon], and viewers who haven’t read the webtoon will be able to focus entirely on the situations in the drama.” She confidently concluded, “It’s a drama that will definitely live up to your expectations, so please give it lots of interest.” “A Superior Day” will premiere on March 13 at 10:30 p.m. KST. 13. Here's another poster: @SnowBlob Here's a part of Soompi's article where they translated what's said in the teaser: The teaser also shows the four characters’ struggle to find happiness in what they consider to be their bland and meaningless existences. Kim Ji Won says, “Relationships is just another form of labor.” Lee Min Ki says, “Since I was born, I’ve never experienced delight, pleasure, happiness,” while Lee El breaks down in tears. Kim Ji Won declares, “It feels like I’ve been trapped. But I’m going to break free. I want to be liberated.” As Kim Ji Won and Son Seok Gu enjoy the sight of the sunset by the river, she says, “I wish we could all be happy. Like we’re out in the shining sunlight, without any crinkles.” https://www.soompi.com/article/1514753wpp/watch-kim-ji-won-lee-min-ki-son-seok-gu-and-lee-el-search-for-happiness-in-a-meaningless-life-in-new-drama-teasers
  14. @Kriysw and her team finished translating episode 6.
  15. Yay, there's an air date!! Is it just one episode a week or two?
  16. @abs-oluteM They looks so nice in their family photos! And haraboji is in this too!!
  17. Tagging @Darkarcana because you said you plan on watching this one, right?
  18. @abs-oluteM @Rina I can confirm that in the manhwa the second couple has a 29+ relationship, but like Rina said, it's SBS so they will probably not show any of those scenes. In the preview the second couple live in the same apartment complex but I don't remember reading that in the manhwa.
  19. @Alice Wonderland @mademoiselle Kang Ha Neul does look really dirty in that pirate movie. I think that's why I avoided a lot of the photos of him in that movie. My BFF works from home so she watches the most random shows too. She doesn't go outside to socialize either so those social experiment dating shows are her favorite.
  20. I felt the same way too. I thought it was selfish of Young Min and Se Jin to do that to Seung Tak. I didn't mind Crystal in that scene because the way I saw it, she probably thought what they were doing was wrong so she wanted to put a stop to it. She was speaking up for Seung Tak, who has a hard time saying 'no' to Young Min. I know! I'm going to miss them too! It's really like Seung Tak pointed out, this drama was a rom-com and they were the main characters. Haha! They went through so much together and learned to be better doctors because of each other too.
