I'm only on episode two, but this drama reminds me of growing up with my sister who was like Yicheng. My parents were busy so she was the one who raised us. It wasn't until years later when I had to take on that role that I realized how difficult it was on her (especially since we were all children then). 

 

The father is absolute trash. I get so upset whenever he is onscreen or talking. He shouldn't have kids if he's not going to take care of them. Thankfully, they have a uncle and aunt who loves them. 

 

The kid actors in this drama are amazing! They have great futures ahead of them. 

 

Subs for this is actually coming out pretty slowly. Right now, only released up to episode 5. I will continue to watch this slowly because I love to see how all of them grow up into their own self. 

 

Douban score for The Bond is not bad either!

i have also just started on this after hearing superb review. 1st 2 episodes i felt my tears dripping d. no children deserve their lives. the father is not a moron but he is definitely selfish irresponsible and useless and a coward. Very touching in a lot of ways. i think i will continue.

@SnT Yes, exactly! I really dislike how dismissive the dad is with all the kids. When the older girl was almost molested by the dad's friend and all he did was take her out to eat, I was a bit upset. I'm glad that Yicheng never stopped reporting that guy! 

 

Bai Yu is the best da-ge on and off screen. 

 

These amazing kids.

 

I'm not at this part but I'm so excited to see this scene.
