  1. @IpohBanana I’m from Selangor. Ooo ok I must check IQIYI. I subscribe mainly for their cdrama content. Too bad Liang Mu Ze don’t appreciate our national fruit Durian @NiteWalker oh really - Western food not more fattening meh ? But I won’t complain if Johnny cooks for me
  2. Hello @IpohBanana . Welcome on board . I see you’re Malaysian too like me ! wahh I must check out Mr Housework 3 then. Haha did he actually do any housework? @NiteWalker ya he’s so strong . I haven’t finish the Happy Camp yet but I saw the bit in the pool . Oh well he can even carry Shrieking Cousin in the BTS with no sweat! Impressive 😆
  3. Ooo thanks @LaLa for the translations . From the additional descriptions that you have added to their characters, this is my interpretation with regards to what to expect for the love lines IkSong- PD is gonna do a "will they won't they" for the entire season. WG - enjoy the honey moon period ( maybe they'll make it angsty at the end of S2 as we go into S3) Bidulgi - rocky road ahead ( but I have a feeling that a wedding may actually happen for them) Gom -gom - prepare for love triangle ! Let's get ready for a long season. 4 months ( assuming 16 episodes ) - gosh let's hope I will last....ahahaha
  4. Eps 5 The boys continue to bond , and now Hae Kang is committed to the team. Class president being the newbie seems to have adapted well , and when partnered with Woo Chan shows promise of being a good doubles team. Coach Yoon decided to pair Hae Kang with team captain Bang hoping to create an ace team given both are his strongest players. But of course like any good coming of age school or sports drama, the characters will have to go through character development - HK and Bang both had to learn to deal with their egos and find a way to work as a team. Coach Yoon was accused by Bang's father ( who was surprisingly very involved in Bang's development despite having so many kids to look after) of playing favorites since HK is his son and that Yoon was a lousy coach more concerned with playing games with his charges. The thing is that the writer of this show , just like in Prison Playbook, likes to make you think the worst about a character , only for you to realise that you shouldn't have judge a book by its cover. As the episode progressed, Yoon's decision was the right one as the boys finally found common ground and a new goal that forced them to work together . They were indeed good being able to beat the uni students who had come for a friendly match. Yoon was also shown to be actually very concerned and put in a lot of hours analysing their games. The other interesting thing for me in this episode was discovering that Yong Tae has inherited his father's skills & knowledge where natural medicine is concerned. He saved Woo Chan who had accidentally eaten some wild poisonous plant . He also was of help to Soo Yeon by getting his father to come up with some natural medication for SY's headache at Hae Kang's request. I was wondering in one of the forest scenes why YT had tied his scarf. We find out later he was using it to mark the place where he found these expensive wild roots that was highly sort after. LOL ...who knew his father would spot his scarf and get to the roots first. No wonder the dad bough him a new phone. Though like YT said those roots could have bought 5 phones! Last bit of eps 5 was super cute especially with the blossoming of the teenage romance. Gosh to be 16 and liking someone. SY who has never wanted to play mix doubles is suddenly entertaining the idea and to play with Hae Kang too. Coach Ra has no idea why she had a change of heart . LOL!
  5. The new variant are pretty scary considering how they are more infectious. Have you guys been vaccinated yet?
  6. It is the third lock down for Nite & I . Fortunately the delivery life is really fantastic where I am ...like BBT on my door step in half hour upon order . So I have no complaints.
  7. Thanks for posting that @Sominah. Nice trip down memory lane for me. JSM is a chemistry station and I did love them together there . Let's hope in this new drama they will get their happy ending! New stills and article Auto-translated from https://sports.donga.com/article/all/20210614/107427665/1 (the jisc is there)
  8. I am laughing so hard at the dance competition bit. ZZH can dance and is a natural for variety. Johnny cannot dance and needs to stick to showing me his abs ( but his personality is very chilled) . Neither did I until someone pointed this out to me last year ...ahahah I didn't realise he was Hu Ge's younger counterpart. I wasn't aware of ZZH then
  9. ahhaahah must tag @SnT too . I know you also love ZZH You can watch this while waiting for new episode of MDG
  10. Will they be doing an episode dump? cc @NiteWalker From the schedule it seems just 6 episodes a week...
  11. Their character descriptions updated on TvN's site . I was tickled by the autotranslations
  12. Subbed BTS...Johnny picks & carries LiQin like it's nothing. BTS for the army scenes...looks like he had to do quite a bit of the action stuff himself Johnny had no problems carrying shrieking cousin too . BTS for their poster shoot. Nice visuals
  13. I have to agree too especially after eps 12 - it was clear that JY turned out the way he did because of this inferiority complex within him . The lack of guidance from yelling step mother , his own mother's words to him that seem to indicate she regretted having him etc .It is easy to build up bitterness and rage within. That said , he is still accountable for all his actions and if only he had some positive figure reach out to him growing up perhaps he may not be such a sick twisted man. Anyway eps 12 showed how both stepmothers did their best to protect their stepsons. Hee Soo plans to send Ha Joon abroad with Tutor. I definitely felt for Hee Soo's dilemma. How to break it to Ha Joon that his dad is a monster? And I also loved what Seo Hyun did for Soo Hyuk. Providing him with a temporary place to stay and helping him find his own happiness. I think her plan now is for Soo Hyuk to come back and take the "seat" 1st and then let her run it on his behalf. But the ending of Eps 12's threw us another twist. So did Hee So kill Ji Yong by accident in a scuffle. So what's with the earlier ones where she fell with him? And what Hee Soo brought up about Mother Emma to Seo Hyun may hint at something. It is true that Mother Emma knows who JY is but she pretends that she doesn't. So what is her deal here?
  14. aahaaahha...he is already in my heart since I have watch most of his dramas except Love Alarm. Let's see how his kiss skills are . @mademoiselle thinks the arms are too much. I am not complaining. I believe we will get some amazing fan service in Nevertheless. My mum & sis also love him. They think he's very cute. @SilverMoonTea KTO needs another good drama , something like Run On. I hope he can get a good main cast role soon. Doom ...what can I say. I think so far from what I have seen & read , Lee Soo Hyuk's character is more root worthy. Haiz. By the way what is happening to our BB cream oppa?
  15. Eps 13 subbed was very good in terms of plot. I know I do want more sweet OTP scenes but I liked how both SK and BW worked together to find out about Won Yeop's smuggled silk business. I shed some tears too at the scene where SK wrote to her mother. She really has gone through so much and it annoys me that she is going to get bullied more when CD's birth mum comes into the picture next week. As it is my blood was boiling every time BW's mother talks down to SK , and I am so waiting for the day when they find out how they have mistreated the Princess. I love Ba Woo but I am certain I love Soo Kyung more. I am grateful that the writer has given us a FL that has true inner strength and beauty. I know that sometimes k-drama writers tend to project strong female characters in a way where they end up annoyingly stubborn. But here we have SK who has kept her calmness and composure. She is clever and adapts quickly, and has such a great read on people and situations. Particularly like the part where she immediately knew that BW was hurt. She did not make a scene or fuss over it even when she was alone with him because she understood his character and how he would not want to worry the rest. Instead she quietly spoke to CB to tend to his injuries. Props to Yuri because the SK that she projects has this elegance ( and not arrogance) to her. --------------- BTS
