🔳 He did not understand what Eun Ha felt when she cried while saying sorry to her classmate until he uttered it himself to Jiwon. Like Eunha, he was also wrong in pretending to Jiwon for fourteen years, at the same time he wanted to go home instead of running away.

🔳  The first couple fight as Do Hyun Soo. They had a serious couple fight in episode 9, but he did not understand how to express his frustration yet. For the first time he was able to show his true side - that he also has his moments of sarcasm on things.

🔳 He now knows how to wear that smile. Like @Darkarcana mentioned on twitter, Hyun Soo’s smile on the preview is simply a contented, happy Hyunsoo.

He may still need to explore on his rebooted self, thanks to his beloved family who will be his ultimate pillar to live a new beginning. Eunha will continue to cheer him , sometimes to scold him not be a cry baby. Moojin will nag him about Haesoo. While Hae Soo will be his noona again as they have a lot of catching up to do. And Jiwon, his the other half. His beloved who saved him three times from peril; his heaven; his angel. Who needs youtube tutorials when he has these wonderful people?

🔳 The writer delicately imposed mirroring scenes through out the series—they are like puzzle pieces for reversals and reveals. (Thank you PDnim / Lee Joon Gi for bragging this one ) Because of this I am clinging on the happy ending, because Hyunsoo has to celebrate again his birthday as him. No more Baek Hee Sung. No more pretentions. I want Hyunsoo and Jiwon also to re marry because this culminates a frest start for Do family. If Jiwon wish will be granted , they will be living a peaceful life in the countryside.

For one i know that most likely episode 16 would start off sad.

 

 

Before going into their happy ending phase. I feel that as of now, (If we are talking about mirroring scenes) then most likely the writer wants her to feel what hyun su have felt for years. A sense of being alone without who she/he loves & being alone(4 months) . Then in the mids of taking care of her love (Eunha) (also = Hyun Su protecting his sister) chae won have to be strong and act like nothing has happened. (Which Hyun Su did for so many years)

When he was younger, Hyunsoo was subjected to psychological abuse by his father, a serial killer, and the townspeople. The abuse made him believe that he is a monster with no capacity to feel emotions, and he even took the blame for his sister’s murder. But the love his wife, Jiwon, gave him even after she found out he had deceived her for 14 years, changed him. The day he broke into sobs and had his first emotional outbursts like a little child, he also confessed to Jiwon, “I love you, Jiwon.” It might have been awkward, but the sincerity felt in each word he said left viewers deeply touched.

Jiwon found herself in a cruel tragedy in which she was forced to suspect her beloved husband of being a killer. But when she found out that his life had been tainted by wounds, prejudice, and stigma, she also realized that she’s the only person who’s believed Hyunsoo. Although she resented he’d deceived her for 14 years, she felt sorry for the choice Hyunsoo had to make, suggesting that she loves him unconditionally.

Haesoo knows more than anyone that Hyunsoo is not a monster, and she was the first to notice the change in him. When Hyunsoo, who still didn’t realize he had feelings, called Jiwon ‘an important person’ because he needed her, she corrected him, saying “No, she’s a precious person to you.” This conversation not only shows Hyunsoo has changed because of Jiwon, but is also about Haesoo and Moojins’ relationship. It’s a touching moment that suggests that they once hurt each other and broke up, but they are still precious people to each other.

When finding out the killer who harmed Haesoo was Heeseong, Moojin got furious at Manwoo and Mija, who pretended they didn’t know what their son is like. He blamed them for covering up the truth because of fear. But at the same time, it was the moment where he faced his own past – he believed there was a deer in the sack he found in Do Minseok’s basement, instead of the victim. He regretted what he’d done was wrong and decided to become a true journalist chasing facts instead of scoops. His growth gave viewers thrills.

Despite the crises and hardships, the four main characters have reaffirmed the love they feel for one another and decided to move forward, leaving viewers deeply touched. The drama will take an unpredictable turn until the end, making viewers guess what conclusion the story is leading its characters to.

The stills show Hyunsoo and Jiwon having their wedding photos taken, as any couple preparing for their wedding does. Decked out in a black tuxedo and a white dress, respectively, Hyunsoo and Jiwon face each other, filled with love and happiness, bringing a smile to viewers’ faces.

Also, the photo of Hyunsoo kneeling down on one knee and handing a bouquet and Jiwon accepting it gives off a romantic vibe.

 

It is all the more touching, especially because this is a past scene in which the couple still have no idea what life-threatening crises they are going to face in the future.

In the previous episode, Hyunsoo had a faceoff with Baek Heeseong, the accomplice in the Yeonju serial murder case.

 

Tricked by Heeseong into believing his wife was killed, Hyunsoo couldn’t believe the woman he was seeing before his eyes was Jiwon.

But when Jiwon desperately called him, he came to his senses and took a step towards her. Just then, Heeseong fired at them and Hyunsoo got shot, falling down and becoming unconscious.

As this accident happened when they thought everything was coming to an end, Jiwon, Hyunsoo, and even viewers were left feeling brokenhearted.

Hyunsoo had only recently realized his feelings for Jiwon, and Jiwon has loved him for 14 years no matter what. Viewers will find out what choice the couple will make, and whether or not they can be free from everything that has made them suffer.

Cant believe tomorrow's gonna be the last ep. Will miss this great show. This drama would be part of my top 2020 kdramas. Wooott!
