  A Duet with Paul Kim!

Paul Kim shared a lovely duet with Jung Hae In!

On April 22, Paul Kim released his new mini album “Maum, Pt. 2” which features his self-composed song “But I’ll Miss You.” It quickly rose to the top of many major realtime charts in Korea.

The singer has now released a special video of himself singing the song with actor Jung Hae In! The talented pair came to know each other thanks to the 2019 film “Tune In for Love,” which Jung Hae In starred in and Paul Kim wrote a signal song for. The singer-songwriter gifted Jung Hae In with an OST for his variety show “Jung Hae In’s Travel Log” last year.

Jung Hae In is known to be such a big fan of Paul Kim that he often names Paul Kim’s music as his favorite and he’s sung his tracks on television and at fan meetings.

[News] 2020.09.03 Jung Hae-in to make Netflix debut with original series 'D.P'

By Lee Gyu-lee

Actor Jung Hae-in is making his Netflix debut in the original series "D.P." (Deserter Pursuit).

The streaming giant unveiled the cast lineup on Thursday, announcing Jung as the lead character.

He will play quiet, tough-minded army private Jun-ho, who is stationed at a unit responsible for arresting deserters.

The series, adapted from the webtoon of the same name, will follow his encounters with AWOL soldiers and his struggle to keep his moral compass as he decides the fate of the confused young adults.

The series, directed by Han Jun-hee ― known for the 2015 crime-action film "Coin Locker Girl" ―, also stars Koo Kyo-hwan of zombie flick "Peninsula," Kim Sung-kyun of the hit TV drama "Reply 1994" and Son Suk-gu of Netflix's "Sense8."

Koo plays corporal Ho-yeol while Kim's role is sergeant Bum-gu, fellow soldiers in the unit. Son is the antagonist, elite lieutenant Ji-seob, who disapproves of the unit.

The series is co-scripted by the webtoon's creator Kim Bo-tong and Han.

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Snowdrop” (working title) has confirmed its starring cast!

On October 5, JTBC officially announced that BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Kim Hye Yoon, who were both confirmed to be starring in the drama in August, will be joined by Jung Hae InJang Seung JoYoon Se Ah, and Jung Yoo Jin in the upcoming series.

The producers of the drama remarked, “As we have gathered a team of actors who have both top-class acting skills and visuals, we will greet our viewers with an especially high-quality drama.”

“Snowdrop,” which will be helmed by the director and writer of JTBC’s smash hit “SKY Castle,” will be set in Seoul in 1987. The drama will tell the love story of Im Soo Ho, a student at a prestigious university who suddenly rushes into a female dorm one day covered in blood (played by Jung Hae In), and Eun Young Cho, the cheerful and lovable student who hides him and takes care of his wounds even while facing danger under close surveillance (played by Jisoo).

Im Soo Ho, who grew up in Germany, has a gentle charm but gives off an air of hiding a secret. After falling in love with him at first sight at a social gathering, the lively Eun Young Cho happens to run into him again at her dorm, where she winds up tending to his wounds in hiding.

Yoon Se Ah will play the role of Pi Seung Hee, the notoriously strict and terrifying housemother of Jisoo’s dorm, while Kim Hye Yoon will play Kye Boon Ok, a phone operator at the dorm who had to forgo a college education due to her family’s financial circumstances.

Meanwhile, Jung Yoo Jin will play Jang Han Na, an impulsive and hot-tempered NIS agent who is passionate about her job.

“Snowdrop” is currently scheduled to begin airing sometime in 2021.
