Plot:

The story is about a woman who struggles together with her coworkers to mature into a true webtoon editor after joining the webtoon editorial department. On Ma Eum, who enters the webtoon editorial department after beating all odds. She has a large appetite, a great sense of smell, and cauliflower ears typical of a fighter as a former standing member for the judo national team. On Ma Eum had to quit her athletic career when an unfortunate accident during a match tore her ankle ligament, but she begins to dream anew when she coincidentally delivers food to the webtoon editorial department. Adapted from the Japanese manga series "Juhan Shuttai!" by Matsuda Naok. Plot from Naver, Soompi and Asian Wiki

TWICE's Jihyo lends her voice in 'I Fly' OST MV for Kim Se Jeong's new drama Today's Webtoon.

 

 

TWICE's Jihyo is the first OST artist for SBS's new Friday - Saturday drama series, Today's Webtoon.

 

Jihyo's OST Part.1 for Today's Webtoon is titled "I Fly", a bright medium pop genre enhanced by acoustic and electric guitar sounds.

 

The track will serve as the theme song for female lead On Ma Eum, played by Kim Se Jeong.

 

In particular, Kim Se Jung and TWICE's Jihyo are known for being best friends, recently garnering attention for their trip to Jeju island together.

@SilverMoonTea I prefer that no romance here, they can be fully all about office work, friendship, struggle and healing thing. For once lets drop romance, too much romance these days, lols

I've done 2 episodes and the story is not bad. Pretty meaningful. They show us the life of a webtoon writer and the team who works with them. Their struggles, the team who should meet their target before the time that company spare them expires. Slightest admiration, or little sweet moments are okay. No to heavy deep love romance or whatsoever.

@Alice WonderlandYes I got so distracted because CD looks so handsome lols. I agree with you the storyline so unexpectedly good and meaningful. The senior artist story really makes me sad, and how they actually close their eyes on his drawing changes because he's so senior already. 

 

The OST and song also quite nice. I'm quite surprised to find this interesting drama, thanks @JenLfor creating thread for this.

Hahaha! I feel like I have this curse where if I start the drama thread, I'm ot watching the drama :laugh:

 

I love both the main actors so I'm definitely going to watch. But given I'm so obsessed with Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo and Alchemy of Souls, I'm probably not going to start this till after EAWYW finishes, so I have something to move onto while I grieve the end of a series I really like :heart:

Haha, while I'm totally into the romance of EAWYW at the moment, which is quite romancey, I totally understand what you mean. The dramas I seem to love most of the time are not romances, but series that are meaningful and have a lot of heart. I think I liked the dramas of last year more because of series like Taxi Driver , Squid Game and Move to Heaven which really spoke volumes to me about life. But sometimes romances can be meaningful too especially when it's about growing as a person, not about all the mushy stuff. :idk: I'm looking forward to the development of this webtoon office drama!

Yay! I'm so glad you're watching...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you won't have dropped it by the time I start. Maybe I'll start next week so I'm not too behind :lol: Just trying to keep on top of my 3 dramas and struggling at the moment since real life socialisation and events call too!

 

I just lovvvvve Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Yu and can't wait to see what they do! :heart:

Your boy NYS also start to grow on me. He's cute. I can see if the love lines will be with him. As they're both closer in age. 

 

I want a job like them, what kind of job is that to reading a manhwa ? And get paid for it lols... also boss and colleague both handsome 😅🤣

 

I hope more people will try this drama. The story continue to be engaging and meaningful too.

@JenL I like romance drama actually, but I see that romance dramas these days happens too much and once they've become couple I got bored. 🤣 

 

The one that still becomes my fave romance drama is OBS. And even they all about romance there are some relatable feelings and healing I get while watching that. 

 

For WYW, hmm I like ot at first but as she dates JH I got bored. Thankfully, the romance portion is fair so I still can enjoy the story.

 

@SilverMoonTea I like that he still continue working with his work. His age indeed decrease his performance. But glad that they find him the solution. The team is going to disband. But the senior member is too busy with his private life struggles and neglect his works while not knowing the big problem's coming their way. It's fun to see how the newbies along with the team get up from their downfall and prove their best. I think their fresh ideas would bring much changes to the team later. Looking forward to that.

Ep 5 felt a bit slower, but for sure I can see the progress of relationship between ME and JY. Probably if there is any romance, I think it will be between them. My favourite scene will be when JY lead ME to leave the mangaka quarter after she brought chicken to them. I just hope JY can make his mind soon about staying with the team or just choose to go to other side. 

 

As of her relationship with SJH, he guide her well but I felt there is still some distance between them. He's for sure always give the right words and advice for her.

 

Maybe this is the rare drama, that I don't mind the FL will go to either guy. Both are equally quite great & fine. @JenLI approve your NYS!
