Plot

Shin Ha-Ri (Kim Se-Jeong) is a single woman and works for a company. She has a male friend and she has held a crush on him for a long time, but she learns that her friend has a girlfriend. Shin Ha-Ri feels sad and decides to meet her friend Jin Young-Seo, who is a daughter of a chaebol family. Jin Young-Seo then asks Shin Ha-Ri to take her place in a blind date and even offers some money for her time. Shin Ha-Ri accepts her friend's offer. She goes out on the blind date as Jin Young-Seo, while having the intention to get rejected by her date. When she sees her blind date, Shin Ha-Ri is dumbfounded. Her blind date is Kang Tae-Mu (Ahn Hyo-Seop). He is the CEO of the company where she works.

 

Kang Tae-Mu is the CEO of a company that his grandfather founded. One day, his grandfather informed him of an upcoming blind date that he set up for him. Kang Tae-Mu is a workaholic and he is annoyed that his grandfather sets up blind dates for him. He decides to marry the next woman whom he meets at a blind date, so he won't be disturbed from his work anymore. That woman is Shin Ha-Ri, but pretending to be Jin Young-Seo.

 

On the following day, Shin Ha-Ri receives a phone call from Kang Tae-Mu. He asks her to marry him.

The summary plot sounds very cheesy, but since its AHS and I like KSJ too, then okay, bring it on!

It'll be a total romance drama  It's based on a webtoon so I think it'll be like that manga/ anime/ What's wrong with Secretary Kim type feel  I think I'm just in because I like both the leads

@JenL I guess so, lately I'm quite picky with some dramas, it easily hooked me in but then it got me bored very quick too. But since I like the lead and their previous records are quite well so I'll trust them that they pick this project because this is good.

This sounds so similar to some manga I've read before. It's typical but with good plot/story execution it'll also be entertaining and fun. Plus AHS as CEO. Hell yeah. CEO in suit and great hair. Yes please, anytime!

This actor , Song Won Seok has confirmed for the show. He is same agency as Ahn Hyo Seop and was AHS's right hand man in Lovers of the Red Sky ...and oh will he play the love rival

 

Character description : 

Song Won-seok takes on the role of 'Lee Min-woo', a perfect man in the play. Lee Min-woo is a chef with a decent family, handsome appearance, and gentle personality, and is also a college classmate who has been Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong)'s unrequited love for 7 years. She will be portrayed as an attractive person with all the virtues that women dream of.

I’ve actually read the whole webtoon and it was really good. Much as I like Sejeong and Ahn Hyo Seop, I didn’t expect them to get casted for the main leads since their profile are quite different. However, I’m willing to give it a try and see how they give the characters justice.

I read through the webtoon for this drama and it was a nice read. It reminds me of a few Chinese rom-coms.

 

Ha Ri has a lot of imaginations of Tae Mu so I hope they include that. It would be hilarious to see AHS act them out. Hahaha!
