well at least they didnt give the savior identity to some vixen in here.....the ML figure it out and know the girl he had been looking for is his wife after some little bump.....and we do not have to wait till the very end hahaha

 

its gets annoying to me how they tends to have the wrong girl in the savior role all the times....

I watched every single of his drama available in Youtube....I saw his face in the thumbnail, I click....     This one is good too, the FL looks like Crystal Yuan Bing Yan.

I've only seen one of hers. It wasn't bad. Her character fell pregnant and the ML found out very early on. He soon finds out that she's got a knack for investing and has knowledge of antiques. She was supposed to be a lot younger than the ML and she probably is in RL. Of course it didn't help that she called him 大叔 most of the time either. :laugh:

 

Some recommendations...

 

This features a brood of quads. It's quite good. At least I don't feel insulted and the ML isn't written as an idiot who can't see things as they are. He gradually works things out on his own despite being kept in the dark. Another guy who feels normal and not some plot device. The FL is Wang Ziyi and the ML is Xu Jiangshuai. She plays a pair of identical twins. He's kinda hot.

 

 

This is decent and features an actor that I like... It seems to be set in the 1980s... I think. The ML is a teacher and they live in a rural area. She's reborn and works out that people in her county don't like her that much. She had a bit of a reputation for running around with men not her husband before the "rebirth". Her husband is a teacher.

 

 

I wasn't sure about this one at first but somewhere in the second act the reborn FL became less unlikeable and the romance became more interesting. I can see what the show was going for -- two calculating leads ruthlessly trying to manipulate each other until he falls hard for her. It's a very hot and fiery romance. I don't think she's as smart as she thinks she is and at first she's reckless and noisy but once their relationship improves and she realises that his reputation for being a business genius is earned... things get better. I like the actor especially in this role. Does anyone know his name? This is my favourite kind of ML -- scheming and observant.

I think the one with Yu Long as a ML?? This one?

 

 

I have no problem with big age gap trope but this girl has a super baby face and they styled her like an adolescent...:shocked: Real age wise, she is around 25 and married so it's not something illegal BUT her looks and styling make me feel ILLEGAL....:PsyWhat:

Yes, that's the one. It was my first encounter with his actor too. He was very likeable and since then I've seen a couple of others with him. He's in one where his wife is a 傻子 and had lost her memory. She falls pregnant and he sends her away when his brother's woman comes to live. On the way, someone tries to blow up the car. The actress is a popular one but her name escapes me at present.

男主：于龙/Yu Long

女主：范祺/Fan Qi

 

Both of them are good actor with sexy voice and love how they delivers their lines.

Oh yes!! The way his tongue rolls out those words with perfect intonation and pronunciation full of emotion in a deep throaty sound is eargasming...:PsyWhat:  The drama with Fan Qi really showcases his sexy voice, especially during his conversation with her after the stone auction where he asks her if his ex taught her how to choose stones and if ex doesn't want to see him....:wow:

this is a nice one.....slow and steady not stabbing or accident and no hospital visit hahaha....

 

a caring ML who had always been in love the FL since high school....FL gave up on the guy she intended to marry just for marrying sakes, she wasnt fully inlove with him either....just out of gratitude as the guy mother was her passed away mom's best friends....and it was her mother wish....

 

she woke up on the day they were suppose to register for marriage where the guy went on a vacation with his lover instead.....

 

only thing we need to face is some verbal abuse from the scumbag at the very beginning however once the FL gave up....she gave up for good n got back a little backbone to stood up against the scumbag......

 

ML is very supportive of her through out and get along with her at her pace too.....

This is the 4th version that I watched and with the best ending....Neglected wifey came back from Hades to divorce the "philandering" husband who drove her to death. His latest squeeze is a young thing who looked like his ex who took her life on his wedding day with FL.

 

 

This is the best version because they included the ML's POV where we can see clearer about the real situation but still didn't give him free pass in how bad he treated wifey.

 

 

This one is good too especially with SHN as ML but with an open ending....:PsyWhat: I can't find another vid any more but the FL is a regular villain/green tea/white lotus in other dramas. I think it's her first drama as FL.

I was going to post this one but you beat me to the punch. I caught it last night as well and was impressed. It's thoughtful and feels like it's been written by human beings. Apart from the flash marriage bit, it's generally about normal people interacting in plausible ways. I'd been thinking that there are not enough of these types of stories where the leads have a mature relationship that's built on clear communication and an active avoidance of misunderstandings. The ML is particularly likeable here because he states clearly at the start what his expectations of the marriage is. He's not going to be a rebound but he wants a long-term relationship. This of course repudiates the usual contract marriage trope where they both claim to want separate lives with separate living areas. It's not a straight up transaction with benefits for him. He wants love eventually. 

The actor does remind me a little of Wang Xingyue.

This is a pairing that I'm really becoming fond of. Last week I posted a couple of their dramas and this one is apparently their first collaboration.  As you can see it's a rebirth story where the FL betrayed the ML in the previous life. He went to prison and three years later when he's released he finds her wandering around on her own infected with AIDS. She later commits suicide which leads to rebirth. 

 

I've been told that it is an older drama although I just caught it last week

Tan Jianci is by far the better actor. But I struggle to see the resemblance. The douyin actor is rather on the stiff side. An actor with the calibre of Shen Haonan or Liu Qing is needed to pull off that kind of tyrannnical domineering CEO role.

Because they're lazy. Because it's easier to make that the feature of the drama than to actually plot a show properly. It's exhausting and frustrating -- like playing a game of hide and seek that goes on for too long.

yes very true....i caught it too last night....been watching couple of late night dramas recently cause couldnt sleep due to the heatwave we are experiencing .....

 

its felt comfortable and actually make u just sit down and watch it thru.....and the verbal abuse its to the minimum, actually the scumbag's best friend is an honest guy and he deliver the truth to the scumbag just he is too blind and too much into himself to see the truth.....i love the bit where the FL didnt forgave him either when he came to ask for forgiveness

i like the girl....the girl work well in most of her roles.....yes this was also one of the first drama i watch of her too....its very nicely done.....

how true....sometimes i just press on my FF to skim it thru....it got so boring how they lets things stay too long hidden
