i remember and i think he look better with the other girl in this setting....he and that girl seems to be more compatible

This one?? Zhong Yi is more compatible with Yu Long. Yu Long looks so kampungan in this drama....haha

I really enjoy this pairing... although this is a very familiar rebirth story. The team work is good. I discovered the name of the actor... finally. I've seen him in quite a few dramas now. He's great at generating chemistry with his FLs. This FL is terrific -- she looks like she's enjoying herself.

Here's another likeable pairing with good chemistry. A rebirth story with good teamwork and a mature dynamic. A very overpowered FL which doesn't really make sense but it's still fun.

 

 

 

I don't mind this second chance story... The ML although starts off being a scumbag finds out the truth pretty early and embarks on his redemption arc early as well. The father-son dynamic is cute and moving.

Meng Na suits a haughty role. She doesn't suits Mary Sue/damsel in distressed roles, those roles belong to Ma Qiu Yuan and Yun Yi. She has a drama with Liu Qing where Liu Qing is her fiancee's uncle (the usual trope), I enjoy her slapping around her dad's xiao san and daughter.

haha i love seeing her in anything ....i dont have a high requirement for DY drama to be honest....they just something i watch for fun and times fill up

I'm still quite picky though, DY dramas are budget projects but some with overly low budget to the point of on par with my home made video is uncomfortable to watch.... That's why I stick to certain DY actors with better resources.

 

Btw, last night I was talking to my son and recommended some Cdramas for his references because he is starting his Mandarin major. I showed him some trailers and when it came to My Journey To You, he said that the drama seems to be good with great cinematography etc etc BUT all of the people are TOO pretty to be point of unreal..... None of the regular looking folks, it's not realistic. Well, I said, that's GJM for you. Skip it then if you don't like....

hmmmm...try with modern one first? does he like family story, i just recently finish one "Islands" by Ma SiChun and SunQian, not too bad....they tie up almost everyone ending nicely that they give 2 epilogues for Ma SiChun's father and her and also SunQian and her BF

 

just finish this one....very short....ex turn out single and continue to wait for his heiress to turn back and look at him.....imposter got the ending as she deserve
