Synopsis

Hwang Dong Ju (Im Si Wan) is the chief of taxation division 5 at the National Tax Service. He works hard to trace money that is hidden from the tax service. His team includes Seo Hye Young (Go Ah Sung), who has a bright personality and his boss is Oh Young (Park Yong Woo). Meanwhile, In Tae-Joon (Son Hyun Joo) is the director of a regional tax office. Go Ah-sung Confirms Drama "Tracer"

Actress Go Ah-sung is starring in the OTT Wavve original drama "Tracer".

 

"Tracer" is a thrilling follow-up play depicting the fierce performance of the National Tax Service, also known as the 'the dump' starring not only Go Ah-sung but also Lim Si-wan, Son Hyun-joo and Park Yong-woo.

 

Go Ah-sung plays Seo Hye-yeong. Seo Hye-yeong is a head-on breakthrough figure who firmly holds out in the cowardly world and will revitalize the play with delicate expression, hard eyes and stable acting that elicits sympathy unique.

 

Go Ah-sung has performed excellently in "A Resistance", "Samjin Company English Class", "Life on Mars" and more, pulling off each character with near perfection. She's also starring in the thriller drama "Crime Puzzle" as an elite detective with sharp intuition.

Meanwhile, "Tracer" will be released through Wavve this winter.

Tracking down dirty money in new drama Tracer with Im Shi-wan, Go Ah-sung

New stills of Im Shi-wan (Run On) have been released for upcoming drama Tracer. In addition, it was recently reported that Go Ah-sung (Life on Mars) would be the latest addition to the cast, which already includes big names like Sohn Hyun-joo (Itaewon Class, The Good Detective) and Park Yong-woo (Priest). The drama is centered around the National Tax Service (Korea’s version of the IRS) — the most detested and feared of all public agencies.

 

Go Ah-sung plays Seo Hye-young, a team member in the fifth bureau of taxation, who is firm in her convictions and directly pursues her goals. Im Shi-wan plays the leader of her team; his character Hwang Dong-joo is brazen and doggedly determined to track down dirty money. He makes others around him self-conscious because he’s so good at what he does.

 

Sohn Hyun-joo plays the meticulous and ambitious Seoul Central District Tax Commissioner. His character, In Tae-joon, has lofty goals of soaring to new heights with his next promotion. Then there’s Park Yong-woo, playing Section Chief Oh Young, whose greatest work in life is avoiding actual work.

 

Tracer is set to air sometime this coming winter on the Wavve streaming platform.

Upcoming drama “Tracer” (literal title) released an exciting new teaser!

 

“Tracer” is a new wavve original revenge drama set in the National Tax Service. Im Siwan will star as Hwang Dong Joo, a new team manager of the Seoul Regional Office’s Investigation Bureau, while Go Ah Sung will star as Seo Hye Young, a fellow team member at the Seoul Regional Office who is unafraid to face the cowardly world head-on.

 

The new teaser begins with Hwang Dong Joo making a powerful entrance as he walks out of the car along with Seo Hye Young, Oh Young, and In Tae Joon. The trailer dramatically introduces the four unique characters one at a time.

 

Park Yong Woo plays Oh Young, who was once the ace of the National Tax Service but is now the section chief who doesn’t believe in doing any work. Resolutely walking forward, Oh Young states, “Sometimes, you have to try work that isn’t shameful too.”

 

The teaser pans to Seo Hye Young, who stubbornly takes on the world. She proudly claims, “I told you to trust in me once.”

 

Son Hyun Joo plays In Tae Joon, the commissioner of the Seoul Regional Office who dreams of becoming something bigger. He charismatically proclaims, “In the end, it’s a game of deceiving or being deceived.”

 

Finally, the skilled team manager Hwang Dong Joo, who always keeps people on the edges of their toes, appears. He asks, “It’s people who are scarier than money in the end, right?” The teaser ends with the four main characters continuing to walk forward as Hwang Dong Joo narrates, “Nationally certified experts who chase bad money are coming.”

Im Siwan And Go Ah Sung Shake Up The National Tax Service In Stills For New Drama

wavve’s upcoming drama “Tracer” has released new stills of Im Siwan and Go Ah Sung!

 

“Tracer” is a new wavve original drama set in the National Tax Service. Im Siwan stars as Hwang Dong Joo, a new team manager of the Seoul Regional Office’s Investigation Bureau, while Go Ah Sung stars as Seo Hye Young, a fellow team member at the Seoul Regional Office who is unafraid to face the cowardly world head-on.

 

In one of the new stills, Im Siwan shows a fierce expression as Hwang Dong Joo, hammer in hand, with a rough appearance that is different from what one would expect of a tax official. Even in the middle of a conference, he bulldozes ahead and says what he has to say without caring about what other people think of him.

Meanwhile, Seo Hye Young is a hands-on member of the team with her excellent intuition and research skills. The stills show how Go Ah Sung captured her character’s confidence and overflowing energy.

The stills also show other members of the team, including the charismatic gaze of Seoul Regional Office commissioner In Tae Joon (Son Hyun Joo) and the casual attitude of section chief Oh Young (Park Yong Woo), who used to be the ace of the National Tax Service. In Tae Joon and Hwang Dong Joo butt heads over how to carry on their work, introducing friction to their team.

@abs-oluteM I'm glad for a longer teaser! I wanted to see more than them walking. LOL! My understanding is that it'll air on Wavve first and then it'll be broadcast on TV later. That's the current rumor, but I don't know how much of that is true.

It's Siwan so I will check it out. If it is coming out on Wavve first this means we at least will be able to watch on the Dark Side... I hope.
