From there he starts to branch out into not only music, but acting and hosting as well. Eventually he starts to get reputation worldwide after his drama Brilliant Legacy. During his song writing days, he really loves to get inspiration from Maroon 5. He recently stated that he will be leaving hook and starting his own one man agency. Life: Born Lee Seung Gi, on January 13, 1987. He was raised in Banghak-Dong,Dobong district of Seoul. He is born to a SK business mogul family. Most likely due to majority of time invested into the business, therefore he doesn’t have a really good relationship with his parents. Even though that’s the case, he is a good student, he learnt English, Japanese and Korean during his studies. Afterwards he got a degree in International Trade and Commerce from Dongguk University and a Post Graduation in Trade Theory as well as Finance and Cultural. The actor debuted in June 2004 and has been with Hook Entertainment for 17 years. On May 24, the agency announced that he would be leaving the agency to establish his own company. The official statement reads as follows: Hello, this is Hook Entertainment. Our exclusive contract with Lee Seung Gi will be terminated on May 31. Although we’ve been together for a long time even before his debut with a relationship based on a trust, he recently decided to establish a new one-man agency and promote independently, so we agreed to maintain a cooperative relationship in the future.
