I've seen the first 3 episodes and it's watchable. I enjoyed the Pride and Prejudice reference in the first episode although the FL's dad is really a bit over-the-top with the helicopter parent act.

I've read the first half of the novel and it's pretty sweet, nothing in the territory of makjang yet (I still have the last half of the novel to finish haha!). Plus, I'm not sure how closely they will follow the novel too. Haha! Her father has cancer so he's in and out of the hospital quite a bit getting treatment. That's how they meet, he is her father's doctor. 

 

Xiao Zhan is very beautiful onscreen. His visuals stand out a lot, which is probably why he's so popular. Some actors do not look good with their mane of glory, but it works for Xiao Zhan. I put photos in the spoiler tag for you. LOL!
