Haha, no one hate me, but when I watched Healer I thought it was a fun watch, but I don't think I loved it half as much as everyone else?   What does everyone love about Healer? I watched it maybe right after watching Suspicious Partners, so I was a later watcher. And now I'm not even a JCW fan (agree with @bairama ), so I guess maybe that colours my memories

Agree with everything you said here. I like KSH. Maybe because I started out seeing him in his good films (Secretly, Greatly and even cameos like Miss Granny) and then he's picked reasonably good dramas...I think the only big flop was that weird arthouse film Real. I'm not a fan of sanguek either, but because Park Eun Bin, Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook are all in sanguek coming up I'm going to try to try myself to watch some.

Hahaha I think this is one of the big put offs of C-drama for me personally. I like live watching/ live promoting dramas which is how TW and K dramas work (the drama is usually still being shot/ or finished recently and there's lots of interviews, game show type content) because it makes me more excited about it and feels like I'm on the production ride also. I think there's something nice about the stars still having really good chemistry and being excited about their projects when they promote....as opposed to them already shooting something else, but coming back to promote. I feel sometimes it kind of shows

I'm not a big fan of sageuk too but Oppa introduced it to me. It's not so bad actually ~ nowadays I just see it as I have a few more varieties other than modern kdramas and some kdramas, the fashion and cinematography is pretty good.

LOL, I don't talk about Kdramas or Oppa with colleagues. They won't understand it. However, I rather have stars as my wallpapers than any private stuff. People can be very gossipy and nosy. Some people don't know where to draw the line.

Hahahaha YY, in general, is a pretty handsome guy. I remember back in 2015 when JCW went on Happy Camp and I watched the show, I had already noticed Yang Yang and found him cute. I don't even know him but he made an impression that I remember his name.

I do have these types of conversations because my boss has a teen step-kid who orders topless K-pop guy photobooks, so he understands  He's also been dragged along to see see Korean films with her and his wife and he was telling me that she was watching Penthouse the other day (I was surprised he knew the name ). And my close co-worker watches heaps and heaps of K-dramas with his wife, so we often talk about the K-dramas we watch a lot. In fact, he sometimes complains when a dramas is not romantic enough.

 

 

But I also like to appear more sane than I actually am when others see me in real life, so I don't do posters at work or phone photos etc . I just fangirl like crazy online

@mademoiselle One of my coworker watches Korean dramas occasionally. Her favorite drama is the ghost one with Park Boyoung. Two other ones prefer Asian films so they'll talk to me about those instead. They all watch American shows which I can't relate to at all. Whenever they talk about it in meetings, I just stay quiet and pretend I know what they are talking about.

Haha...maybe I am unfair to Sageuks. I think my bias comes from watching old Chinese concubine dramas when I was a kid with my parents. It kind of put me off older type Asian dramas...though I like British period dramas?! Also I like TW/ K-dramas with different periods like set in the 50's or 80's, so it's weird. Maybe I need to give it another go.

I used to download raw clips and soft subs, then joined them so that I can watch kdramas. That was around a decade ago. Live streaming is so easy and convenient now that I don't bother to download. Once in a while I would download if I really really love the drama. The last drama I downloaded to keep is Scarlet Heart: Ryeo (IU and Lee Joon Ki)

I just finished Once Upon A Time (movie). I completely agree with the review I read about it. Everything happened so quick I don't even have time to get into the character & story. It felt like a summarised version

The movie pretty to look at, but yeah story essence kind of lost. Prefer original drama. But I think for YY lover is a must watch haha...

Based on @JenL's tier structure, I have taken note of the following:

Eye Candy Tier - You like what you see. 

Significant Tier - You like what you see, you've done research on them, watched a couple of their projects, and stay updated on them whenever they are promoting. 

VIP Tier - You like what you see, done extensive research on them, watched all their projects regardless of reviews, anticipate their new projects, and have a folder with pictures, gifs, etc. of them. You have their photos printed out, celebrate their birthdays, and will gladly attend a fan meet/concert. 

God Tier (added from @abs-oluteM) - All the other tiers, plus you've contemplated creating a shrine for them in your home. They are untouchable in your eyes because if you have two oppas with dramas out, you will always choose them first. 

 

Did I miss anything?
