Aishhhhh @mademoisellesia my interest in SF2 also waning a bit because I don't see my glare glare oppa. Now I know how he was able to juggle doing 365 and this ( since they were filming at the same time) ...they made him disappear ....my hope is he comes back alive. I had enough of him dying or losing his limbs...dear me. 

 

@wallflowersforjane How's Ong Seung Wu's acting? (More Than Friends ) I have seen the lead girl - she was good in He's Psychometric . And of course you know I am watching because of this one

@abs-oluteM I think Glare Glare will return in one piece, but yeah, it's disappointing he takes a backseat here. I honestly don't find this police vs prosecution power struggle that interesting. Might as well write a Burning Sun scandal into the story and indirectly expose all the culprits. 

 

Ong Seung Woo's acting surprised me in At 18. He did well for a debut drama and as an idol. I kept telling everyone to check At 18 out coz of it plus he's paired with Im Soo Hyang, who has been acting since she's a little kid.

 

Multi-talented oppa theme - Ok let's do it. I'm cool with that. What's the criteria coz most K-Celebs acts and sings/dances in fan meetings.

@mademoisellesia SF2's storyline is not as unique as the 1st one. I am resigned to not seeing my oppa till maybe last 4 episodes. If he is alive. Didn't know that Ong Seung Woo was an idol. Well it is quite fast then for him to get lead roles.

 

For multitalented oppas theme - singing in tune for fan meet , I don't count that as their skill ...ahahaha...My standards are like our boy KMJ and someone  like Lee Seung Gi. Or even Yoon Yeon Seok .

ahahah I was hoping too for the bromance.

Not tired of HB at all...since he's such a handsome man. My mum went through a HB phase at the beginning of the whole lockdown - she watched all his shows lol.  Gong Yoo is a very charismatic actor. My hub's favourite. He was particularly disappointed  that the 2nd installment of the Train to Busan did not have Gong Yoo. But he said Goblin was crap ....If I have to be honest the plot in the last 4 episodes went nowhere . 

 

I do love JSJ and I was happy with how they teased the romance in The Model Detective. I would not have minded it since I am one of those who can see romance in everything. . Nevertheless , I am fine with crime dramas not making the romance front and centre.

@abs-oluteM OSW's agency is Fantagio and he was always meant to debut as an actor. But the agency sent him out to Produce 101 and he made it in so he was in Wanna One for about 1.5 years before coming back. He's really funny too! I have not watch him act but he's been nominated for Baeksang for At 18 so I am looking forward to MTF! So far the previews look good! Also was sold At 18 by @mademoisellesia so I will check that out later after all these dramas!

Hmm, so to clarify, the standard would be:

1) Act

2) Sing - Not FM but musical performances? What about those who has released singles/albums/sang for OSTs?

3) Musical instruments (again, not FM or acting)

4) Rap

5) Dance

6) Host

7) Other talents

a) Cook? Like Eric and Cha Seung Won in 3 Meals a Day???

b) Compete in sports?? Like the Handsome Tigers?

c) Make furnitures like Yoo Hae Jin?

I have to agree with your hubby on Goblin. After I finished watching all of HB's shows, I searched for a list of top-rated K-dramas. Found only Stranger and Signal good. Had to fast-forward Goblin and MLFAS. Although I must say the GY-LDW bromance is hot stuff and OST fantastic.

 

You were the first person I thought of when he disappeared. "Oh oh, abs-oluteM will be so sad if he dies..."

 

On the side, Carol Cheng from HK is also a BinJin shipper 🤣

For number 2 - musical performances , singles, OSTs that's fine. Singing in fan meet...every oppa has to. So I don't think so.

They need to have at least 2 of these :D . Do you mind opening the thread?

I kinda feel the OST/singles should be taken away coz any stars can do that and not having to sound good - it's more directed at earning money from fans (****** runs) rather than actually good at it professionally, like Jo Jung Suk for example.

 

So the other talents - do you agree those are counted or...? Please advise.

okay  okay you have a point. Maybe must be singer as well  - like LSG . I keep having to bring him up, cause he really is amazing .

Should be Dating in the kitchen... i was busy last night so i didn't really check.. but seems like the show entered weibo's trending list last night @NiteWalker LOL not sure if its still there today.. hahaha...

can accept other talents ...but have to be proven. ..I also can cook...but I am not sure if anyone would dare to eat  ...appearing in varieties alone is not a talent. ....gonna get the side eye from variety fans at this rate :P

You were shipping the second leads? I am quite amazed that actors/actresses in K-ent get opportunities quite fast which is great for them. Yoo In-na was a minor supporting actress in Secret Garden in 2010. A few years later, she is a lead. Same for Lee Jong Suk. I am so used to HK where the supporting cast usually just stay there unless they are exceptional. It's a sad state.

 

@Lynne That video is funny although I don't know the chinese actors. But I know Heaven Sword (HK version) & Saber - one of the best!

 

Carol Cheng has a radio show. It's quite funny. They talked about CLoY and BinJin rumours, HB rumours with SHK etc.
