5 Twists In Episodes 7-8 Of “Happiness” That We All Saw Coming

Dec 2, 2021 by shalini

Happiness” grows even darker this week as Seyang Forest Le Ciel Building 101’s residents start going down the path of insanity. Everyone’s irrational this week as a shortage of basic necessities, a toxic boiling pot of an environment, and ulterior agendas galore combine to turn the complex into a free-for-all. As it turns out, the infectees are the least of everyone’s problems.

Warning: spoilers for episodes 7-8 below.

1. Sae Bom’s blood might cure the virus

Spoiler

It’s been obvious from the beginning that Yoon Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo) has something special in her blood. She was one the first people scratched but hasn’t turned at all – a fact that she seems to have strangely forgotten because she doesn’t seem all that concerned that she hasn’t shown symptoms.

Sae Bom and Yi Hyun’s (Park Hyung Sik) irrational dislike of Han Tae Seok (Jo Woo Jin) continues, and the man really isn’t helping matters here when he practically kidnaps her to get a blood sample. Tae Seok, dude, if you need a blood sample, just ask? There’s no need to sic an infectee on her.

The show doesn’t really explain his logic in doing so but appears to be using the scene to argue that Tae Seok is ruthless. But now that the Sae Bom CureTM is in production, a return to normal seems to be on the horizon. But the residents don’t know that.

2. The cleaner couple turns on everyone

Spoiler

The cleaner couple in apartment 201 has had enough. They politely request that they be allowed to move to 1102 because, with the first floor now breached, their apartment is the first possible place an infectee would stop for a snack. Oh Yeon Ok (Bae Hae Sun) manages to inject her refusal with enough classism to infuriate the couple, especially when the rest of the residents, save Sae Bom and Yi Hyun, join in.

One half of the elderly couple in apartment 302, Kim Hak Je (Hong Soon Chang), is especially egregious, saying that the young should put themselves on the line for the elderly (a strange sentiment from someone seeing the end of their days), and the couple has had enough. When Yeon Ok has the gall to ask them to share the supplies they risked their life to obtain from the supermarket, the couple draws the line and starts a hefty markup. A bottle of soda starts at $200 now. Yikes. Gone is any shred of camaraderie. It’s everyone for themselves.

3. Oh Yeon Ok is shady

Spoiler

Yeon Ok’s scheme is finally out. She’s been gunning to become apartment representative so that she can embezzle the other residents’ management fees. Sae Bom and Yi Hyun call her out on it, and Yeon Ok’s genteel, haughty lady act vanishes instantly. Perhaps that wasn’t the smartest thing for our power couple to do because she immediately goes on the warpath to eliminate the only threat to her money. And she has just the person to do it.

Kim Jung Kook (Lee Joon Hyuk) has been antsy about the lockdown and being separated from his wife, but not knowing when it’ll end drives him off the deep end. Heaven knows what he thinks he witnesses Yeon Ok’s husband do, but he starts believing that the pastor has divine powers. Within two days, Yeon Ok and her husband have him in the palm of their hands. So when they order him to do “God’s duty” and hunt down the infected, Jung Kook turns on his former friends immediately.

4. Oh Joo Hyeong is a psychopath

Spoiler

baek-hyun-jin.png

Oh Joo Hyeong (Baek Hyun Jin) is probably the smartest character in this show next to Tae Seok. This slippery eel knows just how to push people’s buttons, plant thoughts in their head, and walk away with a chuckle. His first thought upon realizing that the Next pill creates infectees is to inject all his bottled water with it. For what purpose? Surely it does him no good to have a bunch of infectees running around the building. But perhaps Joo Hyeong’s just a psychopath who loves chaos.

Thus, it’s hilarious when Yi Hyun informs him that he knew Joo Hyeong would get up to something unsavory and swapped out all the pills for digestive medicine.

Plus, now they have video evidence of Joo Hyeong gleefully searching for the pills, knowing what they are capable of doing.

5. Tae Seok is a diabolical king

Spoiler

joo-woo-jin2.png

Sae Beom and Yi Hyun’s dislike of Tae Seok is definitely starting to grate. The man is ruthless, no doubt, and has enough blood on his hands to fill a river at the rate he’s going. But his actions make a painful kind of sense. This is a crisis, and he’s acting to save as many as he can. Naturally, this means that some people will die or be sacrificed, but he isn’t getting any pleasure out of it (unless it’s rich people – he really hates the rich, and rightfully so).

Sae Bom and Yi Hyun get on their high horse about him killing infectees, but Tae Seok actually lied to the higher-ups about the possibility of a cure back when one didn’t exist so he could save infectees. Or, as he noted, the government would have ordered all infectees to be shot on sight. Nevertheless, Tae Seok wants people to beware of infectees because they are dangerous.

joo-jong-hyuk-park-hyung-sik.gif

ingukk

Na Hyun Kyung’s actions proved that much. She was crazy enough to let Kim Seung Beom (Joo Jong Hyuk) loose despite having seen a video of him having turned. If she hadn’t let him free, Seung Beom wouldn’t have died. So it’s hilarious that Sae Beom immediately comforts Hyun Kyung (the source of the problem) and is rude to Tae Seok who just saved her and Yi Hyun. The fact that infectees can turn back to normal for brief spells can fool people into thinking they’re harmless. Taking pity on them can result in people dying. Tae Seok doesn’t take pleasure in killing; he’s doing what has to be done. Sae Beom, on the other hand, still lives in unicorn land where everyone can be saved and all infectees are good people who only need to be restrained. And that compassionate but naïve approach has consistently created a lot of problems.

Sae Beom and Yi Hyun are the sort who would announce to the world that she could be the cure in a bid to get everyone to calm down. Tae Seok is the only one who understands that she’d be killed in five seconds and drained of blood to manufacture the cure. So he’s keeping it low, finding more test subjects by leaking fake news and laughing as the wealthy and powerful inject themselves with failed cures. Good for him.

jo-woo-jin1.png

He’s currently the most nuanced and consistent character in this show. We could do with more of Tae Seok. And more of that energy between Yi Hyun and Sae Beom before Yeon Ok interrupted his confession. She deserves to be bitten for that alone.

Next week shows everyone turning on everyone for the hundredth time. Sae Beom and Yi Hyun are put into isolation by the looks of it. Loud banging at night indicates that one of the residents is hiding that they’re infected, but who? Andrew (Lee Joo Seung) remains an enigma, and the survivalist in apartment 1501 remains suspicious. Tae Seok indicates that there’s light at the end of the tunnel, but just who will survive to see it?

Spoiler for Eps 9

( can't say we didn't see this coming...:heiboi:)

efc05639-31e0-4581-a311-4697669b86cb.jpg

On this day, Saebom stood in front of the residents with a knife to find the infected. Saebom said, "Shall we find the infected people who gathered like this? You must know that infected people feel thirsty, and what will happen if they hide their thirst and see human blood?” she said, trying to draw blood with a knife. At this time, Lee Hyun appeared and cut a wound on his hand with a knife and came up to the residents with blood. At this time, part-timer Lee Boram revealed that she was a madman and attacked Lee Hyun, and Saebom subdued her.

Meanwhile, Lee Ji-soo (Park Joo-hee) told Han Tae-seok (Jo Woo-jin) that a new mutation was found among seriously ill patients and said, “The timing of the onset can be controlled. It usually occurs only when you are sure that you will not be caught while suppressing your thirst. The upper management wants follow-up measures, but it is difficult to secure a mutant infection,” she said, referring to the more sophisticated virus mutation.

Han Tae-seok answered, “Isn’t it difficult to secure a severe mutation? So, there are a lot of people with severe illness in Seyang Forest. Ten days after the blockade of the apartment, there must have been enough mutations,” he said coldly. Lee Ji-soo was surprised and said, "So, did you insist on lockdown? Do you want to track the mutation of the virus?” Tae-Seok Han said, “Because we need to know how the virus mutates in its natural state.”

Jisoo Lee said, “It’s like a culture solution that collects germs. If you are lucky, you would have thought that antibodies could come out.” However, Han Tae-seok said, “Leave the apartment door slightly open. Then there will be infected people, so catch them and conduct research.”

Han Tae-seok went to his wife who was hospitalized for madness before giving birth, and Lee Ji-soo said, "It is difficult to postpone childbirth any longer," adding that she must choose between the baby and the mother. When he said that he had only one choice, Lee Ji-soo said, "The results of Yoon Sae-bom's blood analysis came out. There are antibodies,” said Han Tae-seok, stopping his steps and making a hopeful expression.

Meanwhile, at the end of the broadcast, a crisis came to Yoon Sae-bom and Jeong Yi-hyun, which intensified the tension. While Sae-Bom Yoon and Yi-Hyeon Jeong suppressed a resident who was afflicted with madness, Lee-Hyeon Jeong was injured. Jeong Yi-hyeon is hiding her wounds without telling Yoon Sae-bom.

Jeong Yi-hyeon, who was exposed to the madness virus, foreshadowed the ordeal for the two of them by looking in the mirror while Yoon Sae-bom was away for a while, revealing his wounds and contemplating.

At this time, Han Tae-seok's voice was heard on the radio when he heard that Yoon Sae-bom had antibodies.

Yi Hyun being infected. Saw this coming since the show started TBH, YH being infected is the only way SB will realize that she loves him. There was just too many foreshadowing to it, from YH-SB chat about being infected to when SaeBom said that she is excited to see how well he will suppress his thirst if infected. The only thing that is keeping my hope alive for a HEA for them is SB saying YH is a survivor in episode 2(?) or 1(?) and their 10 years plan. Also that I dunno any other couple more deserving of a HEA.

  • 601 peed himself when SB shot  too funny.
  • WHAAAAT? OH NOO! WHY SUPERMARKET GIRL? NOOOOO! :scaredpanda2::pandasad:

Hahaha I feel like you will be turned into a zombie by a hot girl

No we know for sure I would be dead. For sure. :pandagrim:

  • But YH being the hero. Protecting SB again at all cost! Was so heroic how he cut his hand.
  • SB was really emotional when YH got back to treat his wound. I even felt like she was about to cry. I think the love train is coming into the station soon. CHUU CHUU! She continues to see what YH is willing to do and sacrifice to her, how can she not fall in love with him.
  • So Yoon, the laywer's wife, is such a nice, humble and honest person. I really like her. It's amazing how such a sweet ahjumma can be married to such a trash guy. It's almost funny how the nicest person and the worst can live under the same roof.
Lawyer trash continues to cheat on her, although she's a real treasure.
I do hope laywer and his mistress get what they deserve in the end. They aren't good people.
  • The first time I heard 'what the f.....' in a Kdrama. That was unexpected.
  • Although there is a towel in between, she moved her hand! @mademoiselleThis counts as holding hands!
  • By now I really want to know who Andrew really is, I was doubting him at first, but he turns out to be a joker. He informed SB, he didn't hesistate to cut himself.
  • TS really turned his former CEO into his personal labor rat. He even faked his death. Holy smokes, TS is really ready to do ANYTHING to get a cure.
  • Ah...601 guy......what a hero.....screwing around with the mistress of 601, looks like they even had sex...but hiding behind her when trouble is ahead and potentially throwing her under the bus just seconds after. Shows perfectly what kind of trash he is.
  • 601 is probably the biggest a-hole I have ever seen in a kdrama, I thought after his role as evil guy in Taxi Driver he couldn't be worse, but damn, that actor really has to play the biggest human trash roles out there.
  • 1501....has.....a.....throne.....? He talks to SB and YH sitting....on....his......throne? :lettalKWA: So they managed to achieve to get an audience to King 1501? :pandadisgusted:
  • HA! YH got infected! Damn, if he doesn't tell SB, this could probably damage their marriage. He needs to trust her, that's what their love is based on.

According to the preview, YH is slowly losing it and still wants to protect SB. So it seems SB needs to save YH with her antibodies and the cure. Maybe the thought of losing him will sparkle her love.

Episode 9

Haha @Dhakra you're the first person I think of when it is revealed the supermarket girl is an infectee! Yi Hyun and Sae Bom should have given her a thorough body check when they let her in. Actually everyone who went out and came back should be checked.

That said, she and Unit 401's brother are smart and resilient, making sure they don't take a sip of water so their symptoms would not show. Contrary to normal human being able to survive without food as long as we have water, is it the opposite for zombies?

This episode didn't cover Unit 301's old couple at all. With two infectees revealed, now we cannot be sure who was doing the banging at night. The old lady is definitely infected but could she perhaps be one of the mutated?

I like that the Show explained why the zombies did not attack fake Reverand.

And the inevitable is finally here. Yi Hyun becoming one of the infectees. :pandasadspoon: Not surprising at all since the stake has to go higher for the OTP and become a push for their relationship.

c2930b719cc9607b2b8f1cf5e1130b53579d8e34

And as expected he didn't tell Sae Bom, as to not worry her and fear that she'd abandon him. The wound treating x 2 scenes were really good. It shows us more of Sae Bom's feelings about Yi Hyun. They are both protective of each other and don't like seeing each other hurt.

When Sae Bom asked Yi Hyun when will it rain, it got me thinking whether Yi Hyun will feel it now that he's infected. Scientifically I don't think he can detect the weather anymore. Moreover now I'm curious once he's cured, whether being infected with the virus will heal his old injury :pandathink:

My sympathy goes to Han Tae Seok — for always having to make the toughest decision. Even if they find a cure, we don't know whether the cure can treat the infected baby. Plus will the baby be half human half zombie still, that sort of thing! I can even see Happiness might end with finding a cure for everyone but with an epilogue with this zombie baby being born and the future is still unknown.

In the preview, Ji Soo tells Han Tae Seok someone in the apartment is suspicious. This had to be Penthouse 1501, right? With so much stock in the house, it's as if he knew there will be lockdown, no water and no electricity. Plus he knew so much about the building and the power generator, he had to be someone special — maybe the higher up or one of the evil CEOs. Obviously Andrew is another suspicious one. Aargh, can't wait for the next episode!

Happiness Couple's Progress:

Episode 1 - Marriage proposal

Episode 2 - Moving in + sleep together in same room

Episode 3 - Glad to see you hug

Episode 4 - Hand holding

Episode 5 - Comfort/thank you hug

Episode 6 - Giving her his jacket (anything else?)

Episode 7 - Feed each other + hand holding

Episode 8 - Rooftop confession + stare + near kiss

Episode 9 - Treating wound/care/feeling forehead + hand holding

Episode 10 Pre-release preview - Yi Hyun asking Han Tae Seok take Sae Bom & Seo Yoon away

Han Tae Seok understands straight away that Yi Hyun is infected but Yi Hyun ah, what about Jung Guk? LOLLLL. That guy is dying inside missing his wife. If he's not infected, shouldn't he also be let out too...?

Oh noo.... YH might be infected :nervous: But I also immediately thought of @Dhakra when the supermarket girl turned.... He must be so upset now. I was so shocked too. That was so unexpected.

Loving the turns and developments in this episode. There are missing residents whom we don't know how they are now. The 301 couple, the cleaning lady.

Did 601 purposely make 1201 husband jumped to death? Urgh, this piece of trash!

Loving the action scene when SB and YH were fighting 1201 husband. This one particular move by YH sent me wow-ing... :wow2:
BCcvnxq.gif

Then there is the disgusting cheating couple, urgh... Even in times of crisis, they can still find time to entertain their lust.

I would be so zombified by now. :scaredpanda2: But maybe I had a small chance,  since she seemed to have it under control quite well.

Episode 9

I love this series. I really do. I'm so scared for Yi Hyun :letalQQ:...but since it's the last week at least it doesn't feel like we'll be tortured for too long and to be honest, I was expecting this at some point towards the end. This drama also seems to have hope given it's title and the fact that the zombies are not dead...they are probably going to be cured. I feel like it'd be too dark to have the world end, unfixed.

Hahahaha poor @Dhakra. I see why your heart broke. Also you'd definitely be bitten if you were in zombie times...but at least it'd be by a cute zombie? :idk: I actually really liked supermarket girl too. She seemed nice and had a good judgement of being moral, even though she did want to get the phone for money. And even though she lied at least she tried her hardest not to hurt anyone. Same with the writer's brother. He's at least managing himself so he doesn't hurt anyone unnecessarily. :MewHi:

Ugh, the apartment rep was so so so annoying this episode. I wanted to rip out my hair from her annoying behaviour. I guess her husband turning was her repayment. He also put up a good fight against the disease to be honest. And in the end even though I didn't like his character at all, I did feel slightly bad that he was tricked to his death because it wasn't fair when his killer was far worse than him in terms of actually being a murderer and cheater etc etc...and he's still fine?! Like @abs-oluteM, I liked that they explained why the zombies backed away ...and they confirmed what some people would have taken as a logic gap...why zombies don't attack other zombies. But I already knew this from too many zombie-lore films/shows :heiboi:

I'm still pretty sure Andrew is infected but has an iron will not to turn when he doesn't want to...he looked highly uncomfortable when Yi Hyun did the blood test. And he was the first to offer his own, which he would not want to drink. And the reverand only drank it because he was desperate, it didn't turn him...but after drinking it, he became more thirsty. :MonkaTang: Strange apartment guy 1501 seems nice, but I still feel uncomfortable about him. I wonder if it's because he presents as awkward...or it's still the thought of him buying pills that sits in my mind. But his apartment is super fancy...and that throne is soooo extra

I felt bad for Han Tae Soek with his wife. It was nice to see her up and talking...but sad to think of how their baby wriggly could be part zombie. I loved that they nicknamed the baby wriggly. :letalQQ:

I loved the tenderness Sae Bom showed to Yi Hyun. There's this fierce protectiveness in both of them and it's gives you the flutters looking at them caring for each other. When Par Hyung Sik sliced his hand for her, I was like, "Ah, now this is true love. Stopping the one you like from hurting themselves by any means possible." :BulbaOWO:

Summary recaps for Eps 10

Jeong Yi-hyeon (Park Hyung-sik) and Han Tae-seok (Jo Woo-jin) exchanged opinions about Yoon Sae-bom. Han Tae-seok asked, "Does Saebom have antibodies?"

Tae-seok Han replied, "Unfortunately, there is none." Han Tae-seok said, "Seoyun (Song Ji-woo) will be let go. For humanitarian reasons, we have decided to accept minors in the quarantined area."

Jeong Yi-hyun suggested, "Can Saebom go out together?" Han Tae-seok said, "I'm willing to accept if the two of them come out together. In response, Jeong Yi-hyun said, "I will discuss with Saebom and contact you."

Lee Ji-soo (Park Joo-hee) expressed his doubts, saying, "Is there any reason to keep it a secret even from Jung Yi-hyun?" Tae-seok Han said, "Isn't it a bit strange? They said it's dangerous outside and I'll let Yoon Sae-bom go. He's the one who said he'd come out in person if it's dangerous."

Yoon Sae-bom informed Jeong Yi-hyeon that Kim Se-hoon (Han Jun-woo) went outside. Jeong Yi-hyun questioned, "What is an irreversible mistake?" He added, "It may be an irreversible mistake, it may mean that you are infected." Yoon Sae-bom speculated, "Someone imprisoned Kim Se-hoon."

Oh Yeon-ok (Bae Hae-sun) visited Yoon Sae-bom and Jeong Yi-hyun with her neighbors. Oh Yeon-ok said, "I heard that there is a lot of water on the 15th floor. Wouldn't it be good if you share it with your neighbors?" and "I have to check if there is an infection because someone has seen the 15th-floor uncle go out."

Yoon Sae-bom suppressed Ko Se-gyu (Kim Young-woong) who touched Kim Se-hoon's items. In the end, Jeong Yi-hyun said, "I will share only a part." Oh Joo-hyeong (Baek Hyun-jin) complained, "We paid more, but we received less goods."

Jeong Yi-hyeon began to distance himself from Yoon Sae-bom for fear that he might have been infected. Jeong Yi-hyun suggested, "How about if you go out with Seo-yoon?", but Yoon Sae-bom refused, saying, "I think it would be better if Seo-yoon doesn't go out now."

Yoon Sae-bom suspected, "Kim Se-hoon, you could be in the apartment." In Room 1102, Yoon Sae-bom and Jeong Yi-hyeon discovered Hae-seong Kook (Park Hyung-soo) and Sang-hee  who were having an affair.  Sang-hee denied taking  Kim Se-hoon's water bottle, saying, "It's not ours."

Yoon Sae-bom and Jeong Yi-hyeon discovered that Lee Deok-soon (Nam Mi-jeong), an apartment cleaner, had died in the bedroom in Room 1102. So, Sae-Bom Yoon looked for Oh Joo-Hyung. Oh Joo-hyung was displeased, saying, "Are you suspecting that I killed him?" Yoon Sae-bom said, "Please tell me your opinion as a doctor." In response, Oh Joo-hyung said, "It has been more than two days since he died," and "I tried to remove the smell by spraying lime."

Jeong Yi-hyeon was panicked by the commotion of the residents. Jeong Yi-hyun, who woke up from the panic, said, "Rather than that, we need to talk about food and drinking water issues." "We are going to go outside." Yoon Sae-bom added, "I'm going to go outside and see if I can bring water or food."

Oh Joo-hyung said, "It is better to go down and turn on the emergency power than to go outside." Then he suspected, "The two of us may go out and not come in." Oh Yeon-ok too

Jeong Yi-hyun suggested, "Let's get Seo-yoon outside before going down to the electrical room." Then, he informed Han Tae-seok, "Saebom and Seo-yoon please  let them go." Han Tae-seok asked, "Isn't Jeong Yi-hyun coming?" Jeong Yi-hyun replied, "Someone has to protect the house."

(damn it..Yi Hyun is going to sacrifice himself :nervous:)

Jeong Yi-hyeon asked, "Even if we had different opinions, I know the sincerity that Lieutenant Colonel was trying to prevent madness. Please let Sae Bom and Seo Yoon live safely." Han Tae-seok said, "Jung Yi-hyun is infected. That's why I want to show Yoon Sae-bom."

Haha, for sure, I would hide myself until the first cute girl or the supermarket girls rings at my door, flirts a little and I would throw everything aside and let her in, just to get bitten a few days after. :laugh:But at least it would be cutie supermarket girl.

Interesting thought, do you think, that she got the phone because she knew she was infected and the zombies wouldn't harm her?

Episode 10

Must say it is disappointing U1501 is already dead. I honestly thought there's some magnificient revelation to his character's background. Instead he's now appeared to be this one dimensional nobody put in the story as some sort of red-herring. Andrew must be that cunning mutated zombie Ji Soo and Han Tae Seok mentioned, right? I'm curious of his goals or actions. And him being nice to Cleaning Ahjumma was just an act. Now he's being nice to U401 Writer, is she dead too..? That scene when he sat on 1501's chair, was he thinking of infecting the whole world and be the King? Is he just a zombified Psychopath?

U401 Brother has been bitten for quite some time and he hasn't turned, meaning he's doing well controlling his thirst. Bravo to him. We managed to see U302 husband looking humanly and heard his wife. Does that mean she, too, is OK and is able to control her thirst or she has bitten her husband and both have turned? Curious curious. I do think there's some story here yet to be revealed.

I'm so glad Sae Bom notice Yi Hyun not drinking water but with what is happening there isn't much time for her to dig deeper, and Yi Hyun was sneaky enough to convince her he's fine by cutting his wound again. Arghhh this boy! Anyway, I'm kinda OK with this even though seeing him brooding squeeze my heart a little (though I enjoyed it as well), all because this is going to make it more impactful when he sends her out. I'm already imagining her bulldozing her way back into the apartment to save Yi Hyun with a cure (be his life saver again), and finds him in their apartment unit and he tells her something along the lines of "I'm protecting our home". :pandasadspoon:

It was a sad scene seeing Tae Seok injects his wife with the cure. I was also worried she might scratch him. They should make her wear some gloves.

The rest of the residents, except U401 and U602's wife, everyone is shockingly despicable! They can go down being zombified and I couldn't care less no more (not that I was). No redemption for any of them. They looked like a bunch of hungry vultures in the last scene. Did Andrew propose to take down Yi Hyun them all so that they could take their food supplies?

Episode 10

  • The way Sae Bom rushed towards YH at the beginning even made my heart flutter. She relies more and more on him, I truly think in a quiet moment she would realize her feelings for him.
  • I really could watch SB hurting rude, selfish people all day. Was quite satisfying to see her hurting the cleaning guy. He acts way too selfish aswell.
  • The scene with YH sitting next to the elevator in the floor was so sad. He thought about what he probably is about to lose and how happy he was at the time they moved in. He even remembered the hug. It was really such a sad scene. He has to survive.
  • Really? Mistress and human trash lawyer meet in the abandoned unit to have a little get together? It surprises me every time how worse they can get with each episode.
  • HOLY WHAT? Someone killed the complex cleaning lady? No way!
  • Andrew really is a nice guy. I still wonder of there is a secret around him.
Okay, he does. And how he does. He actually killed the owner of his ID and took it. That's why he hides his face all the time.
HOLY SHIA.......and he killed 1501 aswell? Hide it.
  • Oh man, I am so sorry for 1501. His generousity killed him in the end. He was hiding all alone in his apartment and never let anyone in or interfere. And the moment he did, he got killed. Such a tragic death.
  • That shocked face of the lawyer's wife really made me sad. So-Yoon is such a nice lady, so genuine and honest, she looks like the perfect partner you have. The look on her face showed clearly that she knows what's up, she is not stupid. I really feel sorry for her.
But I like how she confronted him. His lies of giving her "consult" is so bad and shallow. She was so fierce and powerful.
  • The fastest working antibodies ever. The cure instantly reduces the symptoms. Well, I think still are in dramaland. :pandaxmas:
  • @JenLwas right. Supermarket Girl is still a cute zombie, even on the rooftop. :pandablush: We could be zombie couple. :pandarage:
  • You can say a lot about TS, but he is quick witted. He just knows.
  • Sae Boms worried face and behavior is so cute. She begins to love him, but he kinda has to hide it. I just hope that won't hurt the marriage in the end.
  • Oh no.....Andrew stabbed and killed JK aswell. Oh man.....I foresaw his death too....but not like this.
  • Poor Seo Yoon. Seeing her cry broke my heart. :pandasad: Someone needs to protect her! Zombie couple heading out to the rescue!
  • Sigh.....the vultures are lining up.

Wow....what an ending....with the preview and the cliffhangers I probably won't sleep peacefully the next 6 days. So intense and interesting. A bit sad that next week will be the last two episodes. But this also means that everything will be wrapped up in the next two episodes.

Glad JK isn't dead yet it seems, I wonder how he survives so many stabs in the stomach. But hey, Jon Snow got back from the dead aswell, so maybe they will find a red witch closeby.

It does look like an all-out war from now on. Seems like Seo Yoon is taken hostage. I just hope YH doesn't die the heroic death to save anyone.

Funny how we both think of the same animal when they were lined up. I wonder if they were all involved in Andrew's plan. Andrew killed three people in quick succession. Now YH & SB have to deal with zombies, vultures and two cold blooded murderers.

Arggh!! What’s with the ending there?! I thought police hyung is dead but in preview he is still alive, only to be suffocated by 601? What’s this guy’s deal killing off people? And Andrew is our number one enemy? Why is he going around killing people just so that YH and SB will switch on the generator? Poor 1501 and cleaning lady, both harmless people. HTS is planning to shoot YH?? And we have to wait a week to find out?? Aiiishh....

Episode 10

Oh no Yi Hyun. While I like him a lot, I wish he would say something about being bitten. It's unfair of him to keep Sae Bom in the dark. Like I know he'll do the right thing and hold out as much as possible...but what about accidents like at the meeting...if the cleaner had cut himself, Yi Hyun would have turned and then that would have been terrible. I understand why he wouldn't tell the other residents, but honestly, I feel like he needs to let Sae Bom know :psweatduck:

But other than that, their romance is blooming. Sae Bom worries over him just as much as he worries over her...and she's the one who's always reaching out to touch him now. And looking out for him. I was super sad that the happy flashbacks were when Yi Hyun was thinking about the happy days of first moving in with his 'wife'....I hope he gets better and isn't a sacrificial lamb

Hahaha, I love a twist. I mean in a way, I'm surprised about Andrew and in another way, really not surprised about Andrew. This series has been showing that people have the potential to be both good and evil at varying times to varying people for their own  selfish agendas....and the characters that made me feel most uncomfortable were Andrew and 1501 because they were so strange and awkward and seemed to be hiding something. But I agree with @mademoiselle, I felt like 1501 ended up being wasted when there was potential for him to be the key to something... he just ended up being a body, pretty much the same tier as the poor nice cleaner. Andrew seems to be a psycho path (and most likely) zombie. He's manipulative, but much smarter and devious compared to the basement uncle who tried to call people to let him in...But yeah, I don't know what his deal is for sneaking into the apartment with a different ID (as a cleaner) anyway unless he was just a psychopath murderer to begin with

But I'm wondering if everyone was clustered there at the end because of his doing, as in he devised this plan and talked them into it...or he pretended to act on the whim of apartment rep lady? In any case, almost all the apartment residents are pretty annoying at this point and I wouldn't care if the show wanted to turn them into zombie feed. If I had to rank them though, oddly enough I'm finding the cleaners as annoying as the apartment rep, and even more than the murderer guy (who is still annoying and evil, but who you feel like Yi Hyun can easily take care of him since he still wets his pants. LOL). The cleaners are constantly nagging and asserting 'their rights' and it's very irritating to watch....as much as the apartment rep. :pandarage2::pandarage2::pandarage2:

I realise the focus of the drama has gone from external to internal for the last couple of episodes. We've barely seen any of the zombies from the outside try to trick their way in...it's just been the residents turning themselves or the human residents being selfish, greedy beings, which is scarier than the zombies to be honest. It'll be interesting and stressful to see them go outside next week :psweatduck:

I enjoy watching Han Tae Seok's scenes. He's so on the ball with knowing other people's motives...it did not skip his attention that Yi Hyun was infected and he didn't even have to see him. I felt bad for the scene with his wife. Did they operate on wriggly? Or did it die since she was pumped with anti-bodies? Is it even human?
