Cops surrounds the bus. Pice inspects the bus to see blood and guts.ah nae sung runs in the building. He is surrounded by other peers and he yells at him. He seems shocked by the deaths. Luckily a victim lives. Which is the kid in the suitcase. Nae sung ask what he saw.kid couldn't say a word. 

 

Nae sung tries to force the kid to say something. But kid is traumatise. Nae sung is passionate to find the killer. So he is begging for the kid to say something. Flashback of the killer. Nae sung forces the kid again which the nurse stops him. Nae sung like a mad man lol.

 

Kid is crying and just looking at him. He stands up and then falls to the ground and cries. He points at Nae Sung and said something.

 

The pregnant wife on the other hand is having discomfort. She looks at her alarm. Husband is no where to be seen. Lights are still turned on. She opens the curtains to see the night sky and she plays some music and the husband returns.

 

Out the window we see there snowman. They drink tea together. 

 

Part 6

They chatted about psychopath.

 

Police sirens in the middle of the night attracted the couple. They are entering their house.  Nae Sung came with a search warrant. Husband is arrested..Nae Sung pulls put a gun and points at the husband.

 

The kid refers the killer to the husband. Which is on the poster. And it's the husband. He is suspected as the head hunter. The kid is hiding in the cop car. Kid grabs a medical instrument and hides in the Bush overhearing nae sung and his peers talking and he manage to enter the car to get to the house. 

 

Pregnant wife is flabbergasted by the accusation. They flip the entire house for evidence.wife calls a lawyer(?) They couldn't find any evidence. 

 

The kid pops out of the carand slash the husband in the face attempting to kill the husband. Kid smashes into the snowman which topples and shows a bag. Open it up its the hair pin from the mother. Kid cries. Pregnant wife noticed the crying. 

 

Wife saw the content of the bag. She is shocked. 

 

News are blasting on the husband being the killer.

 

Part 7

Wife looks at the wedding photos and sees something. In the interrogation room the husband exits with the lawyer which nae sung attacks the husband the moment he sees him.

 

Husband is escorted out.

 

Professor and Wife I'm the car talks about psychopaths. Husband hugs wife and she said something which throws everyone off. Husband is rolling the snowman. 

 

Wife takes a picture.she shows the picture to the husband in front of the news reporters. He gets caught. 

 

On the road the husband meets the driver by fate. He turns and scan to look at the people in the bus and drives off. 

 

Husband smiles and says something. He is a psychopath.  Wife is crying.professor is shocked as well.

 

He cannot believe his eyes.he rushes in and pushes the husband into the room. The husband is cold as the professor asked him question about the killing.

 

Professor can't believe it. Husband chat in the most cold way. A confession about life and death.

Part 8

Professor is on the verge of tears. (I feel like he is talking about his child being the next him)

 

Professor kneels to the ground crying. The pregnant wife in the hospital. She is awoken and she sees the professor.

 

Reporters crowding around the house. Wife is alone. She holds the baby clothing and cries. Phone rings.

Part 9

Wife enters a room but it opens itself. It's the professor's room. She is trying to get her baby tested.

 

Worried.about the result.it doesn't look like the result is good..the kid...have the genes. Wife cries. Cannot believe her eyes. Professor receives a call.

 

He has to leave as the wide cries.professor drops a paper into the car. Wife gets a drink and cries. Another woman gives her a cloth. 

 

They chatted. 

 

5 years later..in jail husband is looking through the newspaper and reads an article. He smirks. He turns his head and sees a mouse

 

Professor is doing some late night research and receives a package. He opens and see something shocking. A mouse.

 

Young kid under a rainy weather walks and he sees a mouse. He gives the mouse some food. He is the same kid who put the mouse in the cage with the snake. He smiles as the animal fight. Another 5 years later. The same kid but older have some scratches on him. 

 

Screams are heard and the older kid killed a rabbit.  Teacher talks to him.The older kid scratches himself until he bleeds. He say things coldly...

 

And shuts the teacher off and leaves. People fear him. The teacher ask about the kids background with his father. 

 

The kid opens the door to his room and sees his father feeding the fish and playing with his dog. He scratches himself as he watch. He enters the room the next day and feed the fish with chemicals. Which will kill the fish. The dog barks and he throws the chemical bottle on the ground and grabs the dog.

 

Threaten his siblings to not say anything. His father returns and noticed that the fish is dead.

 

Father heads to a place and found his dead dog in the pond. The older kid is being beaten often by his father.

Part 10

The older kid brings his sibling to a forest where there is a grave. He asked his sibling to pray then threw him in a ditch..and leave him be as he buries him alive.

 

A woman stops him. The woman strangles the older kid. I believe is the pregnant wife. Now we are back and church and the live stream cuts of for me here haha

Just watched episode 1 and I have to say it’s good so far. I honestly didn’t see it coming - I was surprised to find out who the head hunter was!

 

This drama is not really a genre I typically watch so I’m not used to it. I have to admit I squirmed in my chair a few times. I actually debated in the middle of the episode if I should continue or stop watching because it was so disturbing for me. Lol

 

But I think it’s well done and I am curious to see how the rest of it pans out. 
 

I haven’t seen subbed version of the trailer for ep 2 so I have no idea what they’re saying. Lol I guess I’ll just have to wait to watch the episode.

I got done watching both non-sub and sub version. Subs definitely helped alot for characterisation. I thoroughly enjoy it. It’s just some questions that I’m really wanting to know...Who is Ba Reum lol.  All this time we have yet to figure out who. By nature I feel like the kid is too bad for it to be Ba Reum....Leads usually doesn’t have this kind of back story. My gut is telling me it’s the other mother who is the one bearing Ba Reum. 
 

At this point we know the Second Lead background and also Bong Yi’s background. Nothing is said about Ba Reum (provided the kid is not Ba Reum).

 

Something that I want to raise up for discussion:

This is the drama introduction. Basing on this, we know the left side is Ba Reum, the Right side is probably Dr Han. Question like “Should we take the introduction to account?” “Why is Ba Reum’ s side darker?” “Are they father and son?” What do you think?

I agree. It's not really clear yet who Kim Kang-Hoon/ Jae-Hoon is, and they intentionally blurred out the mom and didn't give good shots of her. She does look more like Kim Jung Nan when looking at the least blurred shot of her. But, I thought some cast lists already state Kim Kang-Hoon as the young Jung Ba Reum? 

 

Overall, I liked the first episode. I didn't expect it to be so straightforward from the get go, which feels like they've already set us up for misdirection. (then JBR comes in next episode explaining the art of misdirection during his magic show 😆)

Please don't let LSG be the psychopath! 

 

I can't wait to see the next episode! The little boy might actually be a different character altogether. It could be that both detectives carried the gene as children (one as Han's son and the other as that other mother) but neither of them are that mysterious child. I am curious to see how Prof Daniel is going to play a part in all of it too.

 

Remember when they were discussing the psychopath gene? They said that the psychopath gene and genius gene are so alike that it would be difficult to differentiate between the two.. I wonder how that's going to weave into all of this (if it has a meaning at all). 

 

I love that ep 1 also raises the question - do we, as a society, have the right to terminate life based on probability? The study was only 99% accurate and even at that, how does one differentiate between psychopath and genius? Also, do our genes dictate behaviour or do we have a choice?

 

I am curious to find out too if the unborn children were made aware of their predisposition by their mothers. And whether having that knowledge impacted their eventual behaviour or whether their environment either suppressed or highlighted it. 

 

Arrrggh! Only 1 episode and my wheels are turning!

Just finished Ep 2 and I don’t even know what to say... so much to digest!

 

I’m beginning to realize that each episode is likely going to be 19+ and that we’ll always be at the edge of our seats, trying to figure out who’s who. 
 

Putting the rest of my thoughts in spoiler tag because I don’t want to ruin it for those who have yet to watch the first 2 episodes....

So at least we get some clarity on some of the characters. The police detective is the young child who identifies Han Seo Joon as the serial killer and it looks like his brother ends up being the priest. 
 

I wonder though if the doctor really is Han Seo Joon’s son... he’s definitely got the cold, unfeeling eyes but with this drama... we know this could just be a misdirection.

 

I wonder too about Oh BongYi’s background. It looks like she suffered some sort of trauma in the past but it’s unclear what it was exactly. It looks like the criminal they arrested had something to do with it. I think it was mentioned that he was rapist and sexual abuser so I wonder if that’s what happened to Oh BongYi.. A part of me suspects that she might also be the little girl in the flashbacks. The creepy boy killed his family but when he was being interrogated, it showed 3 bodies and I recall he had parents and 2 younger siblings. If he had killed them all, wouldn’t there be 4 bodies? Could she be that little girl? She mentions a puppy and we know creepy boy killed their puppy...)

 

And Jeong Ba-reum... I don’t know what to make of him yet. He appears to be kind and innocent and the opposite of the definition of a psychopath. But maybe that’s exactly why he’s so dangerous. And who does he live with?? They haven’t shown us anything about him other than him at work.

I knew the boy who revealed Han Seo Joon as the head hunter survived but I wasn’t sure about his brother bec he was in critical condition. I have to say I was surprised that they both continued to play major roles in this drama.

Have you catch Ba Reum’ s words too? He said and acted very odd for some scenes don’t you think? In the prison he sees Han Seo Joon. “He looks just like us.” (Now this line feels very off, as though he sees his ‘kind’) then the magic trick scene with the body...like...it’s his magic show? He must have checked everything before hand...so how did the body appear(?) suspicious. Then the ending....that look....it changes from Yo Han to Him, the creepiness.  5 more days of waiting. Darn it. And we need to wait for like 9 more weeks to get all of our answers....That’s almost like a semester of school. Lol
