Hi Everyone!

 

Thought that everyone could use a little game while spending all that holiday time doing the things that you've been doing for most of the year anyway! Just kidding. Hope everyone is having Very Happy Winter Holidays!

 

So, each day between Christmas and New Year, inclusive, 1 clue will be dropped here. You have to solve it in order to find a wrapped present emoji somewhere on JangHaven, and it can be anywhere!

 

Find it, then submit the location where you found the emoji here under a spoiler so that it doesn't ruin it for anyone else who may want to play along.

 

Find all the presents and there may be a surprise for you in the New Year!

 

 

Clue #1 (Dec 25th)

 

They say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
Even a cold-hearted CEO has to eat,
And food can tame the wildest beast to an eager puppy.

 

Clue #2 (Dec 26th)

 

Curly hair is all the rage
Though of limited help with level 3
You have to have your family behind you
Whether it’s to be or not to be

 

Clue #3 (Dec 27th)

 

Relaxing with the boogie woogie bugle boy of Company C,
It may have reached an apex when you stopped in the name of love,
But if you want to kill this love, because you’re sick of love
Then what else is a girl to do.

 

Clue #4 (Dec 28th)

 

It started with a wedding.
No, it started with a picture.
No, it started with a wallet.

 

Clue #5 (Dec 29th)

 

It’s not just London that has werewolves
There may have been one in Uruk, too.
Legends happen when we meet again in history.
Just fly me up to the moon.

 

Clue #6 (Dec 30th)

 

Dementors beware
Kitties can only go so far
Haven’t had the time in a long while
But dimples can launch a war

 

Clue #7 (Dec 31th)

 

I love my family
But what is the truth and why?
Maybe I could forget about everything.
I love my family.

 

Clue #8 (Jan 1st - final clue)

 

I rule the world, or at least this little haven of it.
I am the super goddess,
Omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent
All while I sing like an angel.
Good thing I have the temperament of one, too.

This emoji has been hidden somewhere in a post in the correct thread. So, you have to find it and say specifically where you found it, e.g. page and post as well as thread, or you can just submit a post link. It will be the same emoji for each clue.

@Jane @NiteWalker, nice guesses, but you have to find the emoji rather than just guessing at the clues.

You have to solve the clue to figure out which thread or section, I put a clipart of a wrapped present. This:

There is some searching involved once you've figured out the right thread. I did try not to put it in any thread with too many pages to go through.

 

If you just want to guess at the answers as @NiteWalkerdid, you're welcome to do that as well since I'll reveal the answers at the end.

Ok. My teachers always nag whenever they caught us naughty student cheating on a test. And now I know that cheating is never be a good answer. Both answer I cheated up there lead me to none, no gift boxes found. Zonk. Lols

Hope you are having some fun figuring out the clues.

I actually think this is similar to the Halloween Hunt, but just with clues to help you focus your search rather than having to search the entire forum.  :smile:
